Our Wedding

The easiest airport to fly into is (XNA) Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport. It is about 20 minutes to Downtown Bentonville.

If you are joining us earlier than Saturday and Sunday, don't worry, just notifiy the hotel when you are making your booking and you'll be able to recieve the same room rate as the group block as early as that Thursday :)All reservations must be made by April 22, 2026Brielle contacted the hotels in the area and the Motto gave the best rates for the holiday weekend. We actually stayed at this hotel to see what it would be like as guests and we highly recommend this one; we truly enjoyed it. The rooms are "European style"- small but practical, as well as clean and comfy with some luxury. They also have a tiki bar and sushi restaurant that has good reviews!

There are some really cool Airbnb's in town and around. There are also some fun lake houses, houses that back onto biking and hiking trails too, if you want to live like a local.

This is a modern artsy hotel if that is your vibe you will love! We don't have a block, but it is a good recommendation!

Transportation

Although ubers and lyfts are accessible and many things are centered walking/biking distance in the heart of Bentonville, we do recommend renting a car as the ceremony and reception are about 20minutes away from the downtown area and it may be easier to get place to place the day of the wedding with your own vehicle instead of everyone ordering Ubers at the same time (but up to you!)

Travel

Our story started like many of our generation does in this modern day, on Bumble (yes, the dating app). For Brielle, meeting and talking to someone via dating app was not normal for her, and for Joe (if you know his love of messing with people) he would just swipe right without looking at the peoples profiles he was matching with. BUT somehow we matched and our first conversation started with a message from Brielle, “Oh hello”. With those two little words we went from strangers to friends to dating to the altar! We started dating officially May 29th, 2021 (about 6 months after matching and meeting for the first time)- which as a sidenote is why we really wanted to get married in May- to come full circle from where we started. Since 2021, weve had many adventures, achievements and memories made. One of the biggest ones- which absolutely must be mentioned- is our decision to get our sweet sweet puppy, Teddy Bear. If you don’t know of or about Teddy Bear then that’s crazy because we genuinely talk about Teddy within the first 5min of every conversation (he will be in town during our wedding). After getting Teddy, we really started dating seriously and intentionally- both working on growing in our faith in Christ and prioritizing Him in our relationship, as well as just moving in a direction leading to marriage. We love being in love with each other and cheering each other on in all that we do, we are so excited to jump into this next chapter of our lives where we get to do life together forever and are so happy and excited to make you part of our story and our special day!

Local Sites

We are planning on doing things that you are welcome to join us in during the weekend leading up to the wedding, our exact plans to follow will be found in the “itinerary” section of the website which will be updated once we have details, but for those interested in venturing out on your own, here are our some of our suggestions!

This world renown museum is free to the public and a must see when you are in Bentonville. You can walk from the square by taking the Art Trail or drive (car/bikes).

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art

The square is the cutest spot to grab a bite to eat or get ice cream. It is also a great spot to just hang out. On Saturdays there is a big farmer market as well.

Located on the square this a great way to spend Saturday.

Biking & Walking Trails

Northwest Arkansas is known for their walking and mountain biking trails. Here are some of the adventures we have embarked on over the years that could be a great way to explore the area while you are in town!

The "Greenway" is a paved walking and biking trail that can take you from Bella Vista to Fayetteville. There are multiple places to stop along the way from breweries, coffee shops, and restaurants. Bikes can be rented at the Bentonville Square and various places around town.

Razorback Greenway

This spot is about 5-10 minutes from our chapel in Bella Vista. It is an easy walk with a lot to see. The trail is 2.2 miles and you will pass multiple bridges, caves and a waterfall! We took this on one of our trips in April after a good rain shower.

Tanyard Creek Nature Trail

Paved or mountain biking trails go throughout this area, and in the middle is an Airship Coffee which you can only access by walking or bike. Get in the water!

Take the day and pack a cooler to leisurely float down the river. Just 40 minutes from Bentonville is a town in Missouri called Pineville. Spend the day on the river and cool off.

Big Elk Floats & Camping

You can get to the Mulberry in under an hour as well. This would be another fun spot to spend Memorial Weekend. This isn't an exact "lazy river" it is a class 3 and 4 rapid.

Here are a few places we love to go to when we are in town. Hope you can check some of them out!

1. Bentonville Tacos &amp; Tamales - Located on the Bentonville Square this spot has good vibes and great tacos.2. Wrights BBQ- One of Joe's favorite spots. There is one very walkable in Bentonville and a larger one in Rogers.3. Table Mesa - Also on the Bentonville Square. Great brunch but really good anytime of the day. Grab a table outside if you can!4. Junto- Located in the downstairs of the recommended hotel this sushi place has got great vibes and is so good.5. Peddlers Pub- A super casual and walkable spot in Bentonville to get a wood fire pizza. It has Joe's stamp of approval. Brielle liked the margarita pizza and Joe likes the Space Goose IPA from Bentonville Brewery.6. Big Orange- Handcrafted burgers and in the local mall area in Rogers- it's a good spot to get a bite and walk around. Joe liked the farmers burger and Brielle likes the bacon burger. You also have to try a milkshake!7. Local Lime- Another great spot at the mall. The drinks are great and we haven't met an appetizer we didn't like.8. Does Steak House- The epitome of not fancy.. perhaps what you may think when we invited you to Arkansas. But it is a statewide household name- you can't miss it if you want a giant porterhouse and a plate of fries. Every president always stops through.9. Table on 6th - A really cute house vibe next to the Momentary Museum.10. Homegrown- A fun farmers market to table type modern restarant known best for their homemade pop tarts! 12. Spark Cafe- BEST PLACE FOR ICE CREAM located in the middle of the square attached to the walmart museum with huge scoops and prices from the good ol' days

Here are some super fun places to check out if you are wanted a little drink on the town.

1. Callipso- Brielle's favorite spot! Don't research it, just look up the address and go. Seriously don't even check Instagram. Just go... you may need a reservation, but they are easy to come by. Spoiler alert.. they have musubi. 2. Lady Slipper- A young spot with an old vibe. This is a must see if you are on the town at night. They have great little apps and mocktails as well. 3. Undercroft- Another one of Brielle's favorites spots, this is located in the basement of an old church and now a nice restaurant called The Preachers Son. There is also a really nice roof top bar upstairs if you are looking to post up. 4. Scotch &amp; Soda- One of Joe's picks. It's manly and chill. There are a lot of scotches. A great spot for a night cap. 5. Bar Kapu- This is located on the outside of The Motto Hotel. The vibes are perfect for summer. It is luau theme and they have the best pink flamingo drinks and you can also get spam musubi. 6. Tower Bar - This is located on the top floor of The Momentary, Crystal Bridge's modern museum. It has great views (before dark) and is a cool spot to stop after checking out the exhibits. 7. Butterscotch Bakery - A great spot for a sweet treat, and if you go upstairs there is a bar that overlooks the square. 8. Markham &amp; Fitz- This chocolate shoppe is named after a lady and her dog. It is elegant and they have freshly baked treats as well as a really good boozy sweet menu. The butterscotch drink they have on the menu tastes like a Butterbeer!

MEET THE WEDDING PARTY

Bridal Party 

My sister has been my built-in best friend since day one. She’s the one who knows how to make me laugh when I want to cry, who’s seen me at my best and worst, and who’s always been by my side through every stage of life. Having her stand next to me as my maid of honor means everything — because there’s no one who knows my heart better. 

Alix

Ashley was blessed to have me as the little sister she never asked for. We grew up together, often spending our summers laughing, convincing Grandpa to buy us ice cream and having fun. Ashley has always been someone I’ve looked up to and gone to for advice. As my biggest competition for Grandma’s favorite, Ashley was an easy choice for bridesmaid since doesn’t the old saying go: keep your friends close and your competition closer??

Ayleen is my best friend from college. I am her favorite and best Little (from our sorority- she has multiple but obviously I’m the best one). Ayleen helped me through the challenges of being alone in a new state away from friends and family by making me apart of hers. Ayleen really has gone above and beyond as my friend, she’s such a big part of my story, I’m excited to have her be apart of this next chapter!

Cece and I met doing something that is near and dear to my heart- on a mission trip. We became fast friends as Cece is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Our time in college was full of just having fun together, dancing and messing around & no matter what, just enjoying being friends. We also do Rumble boxing together so if you see us walking down the street, you may want to cross over because you don’t want to mess with us.

Mck is Brielle's childhood friend. I gave her no other option other than to be my best friend (meaning I inserted myself into her life and followed her around until she enjoyed my company), but Mck is the most easy going person on the planet, so she didn't really mind. I don't have a single memory where me and Mck aren't cracking up laughing with tears in our eyes. Mck has been my first and true, genuine best friend, and the role model to all the friendships I have had in my life (she set the bar sky high). I am so excited to have Mck by my side on our big day. 

Groomsmen 

Joe’s brother and lifelong best friend. They grew up playing endless games of hockey in the backyard—when they weren’t fighting like brothers do. Through every scraped knee, broken stick, and occasional black eye, they’ve always come back stronger (and somehow closer). There’s no one Joe trusts more to stand beside him on the most important day of his life.

Danny Curbs is Joe's childhood friend. "He's been my good friend forever, he was an easy choice for a groomsman. I love that kid"-Joe

Joe Gioia is one of Joe's friends, also known as the Original Joe Tesla. "We've done so much growing up together like going down to AC and having good times, jetskiing in NY, driving around... there's so much I could say, we also always have a good time in FL...no matter what we're up to, it's always a good time."
