How They Met: It's actually a very long romantic story -just kidding, They met at a bar on 4/21/2012 while Sean was out celebrating his birthday with friends and Brie and her roommate were just out looking for a good time.

How They Feel In Love: Sean and Brie didn't hit it off that first night at the bar but two of their friends started dating as a result of that night. Sean and Brie would spend the next few months seeing each other in passing and would end up at the same places when their then dating friends would invite them out. Eventually conversations struck and they went from being acquaintances to friends. The friendship stage was over pretty quickly as it didn't take long for them or their friends to realize how great they were for each other. They were inseparable from then on. Staying with their romantic theme, Sean was finally ready to tell Brie he loved her when she was about to leave for a week long trip to London. In typical Brie fashion, she was late for the airport and that whole evening was rushed. Sean never said I love you before she left. Once she returned, he couldn't wait any longer so he picked her up late that night from the airport, picked up some Mcdonalds and they exchanged I love yous over chicken nuggets and a double cheeseburger. Their love grew as they ventured through life; vacationing together from their first trip as a couple to Vegas to Hawaii to Europe and every trip in-between.Hockey became their thing as Sean obviously couldn't wait to turn her into a huge hockey fan. They survived living with the parents as they waited for their dream home to be built. Their home is now complete and they share it with two of the greatest Yorkies you'll ever met. The marriage is the only thing missing and everyone was waiting for the day Sean would FINALLY ask Brie to be his wife.

October 1 2017: It all started with Leigh and Casey surprising Brie with champagne and Mcdonalds (clearly a theme in big moments) at 8:30 AM to get her all dolled up. We all laugh now because Brie was caught so off guard she didn't react at all, which made everyone a little worried. After a few mins and a quick shower to wake her up everything was back on track. Sean had planned a trip down memory lane via a party bus. The bus picked the girls up and made stops at all of their "firsts". At each new place someone from their family was waiting for Brie. Sean had even flown in her brother and grandma to make it that much sweeter. The day ended at their favorite place, Red Rocks. Sean was waiting for Brie to arrive with all their family and friends and pulled off the perfect proposal. Now they just can't wait to celebrate their love with all of you and start the next chapter of their lives as The Carrolls.
