RSVP Questions

How do I RSVP?

The RSVP page of this website will be activated once invitations have been mailed.

What is a Save-the-Date?

This is simply a heads-up so you can mark your calendar. This also gives our out-of-town guests plenty of time to book travel and accommodations.

Transportation/ Hotel Questions

Will transportation be provided to/from the hotels?

Yes! Shuttle service will be provided to and from the wedding events, departing from the Aloft and Hilton Garden Inn shared parking lot. When you RSVP, you'll be asked whether you plan to use the shuttle so we can plan accordingly. Shuttle Schedule: Depart Hotel Parking Lot - 2pm, Drop off Trinity Episcopal Church - 2:45pm, Depart Trinity Episcopal Church - 4pm, Drop off Stoke Farm - 4:20pm, Depart Stoke Farm - 10:30pm, Drop off Hotel Parking Lot - 11pm

I'm not staying at the Aloft or Hilton Garden Inn, can I also use the shuttle?

Yes, you can! When you RSVP, you'll be asked whether you plan to use the shuttle so we can plan accordingly.

What airport is most convenient?

The closest/most convenient airport is Dulles International Airport (IAD). Aloft and Hilton Garden Inn both provide complementary shuttles to/from this airport. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is another option. Regan is a ~37 minute drive without traffic. Alternatively, you can take the metro to Ashburn. The metro takes ~1 hour. There is a metro stop ~2 miles from the Aloft and Hilton Garden Inn.

Venue Questions

What is the address of the wedding venue?

The address for the church and the reception venue will appear on the Home page of this website after you RSVP.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is parking at the reception venue. However, the venue is located off a gravel road and parking consists of a small gravel lot and a grass field. If convenient, we encourage guests to consider utilizing the shuttle service.

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Our cocktail hour and reception will be held outdoors. There will be tents but please dress for the weather.

Should I avoid wearing heels?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable! However, the cocktail hour and reception will be partially on grass so keep that in mind when selecting footwear. Heel stoppers are a great option to help prevent you from sinking into the grass.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible. If you anticipate requiring additional assistance, please let us know in advance so we can ensure appropriate accommodations are in place.

Food / Drink Questions

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes! We are providing plated meals for dinner. Guests will be able to make their meal selections when they RSVP. Please include any dietary restrictions or allergy concerns with your response.

What kind of beverages will be available at the reception?

We will be providing a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the evening.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

The wedding is black-tie optional attire. Based on the time of year, we encourage you to embrace florals! Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate guests beyond those named on invitations. We hope you understand our decision and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Are children invited?

We love children, but for this special day we've decided to keep our celebration adults only. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you. If you are traveling from out of town and require childcare in the area, we have a fantastic network of sitters that we would be happy to put you in touch with!
