Some 1300-plus miles apart, we found ourselves connecting first, not in our geographical closeness, which did not exist, but rather, in the celestial beyond of above during Advent 2020. Christmas was coming and with it, talk of the Star of Bethlehem (the conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter) kept us glued to a shared event that we both could observe and marvel at from our respective locales below.

Our shared attention to the beauty, wonder, and awe in the heavens above soon led to many shared stories. Bonding over first a shared love of nature, teaching, and our shared Faith.

And from stories we soon passed to shared adventures, exploring the beauty of central Kentucky and adventuring along Maine's bold coast.

We cannot wait for you to join us for the conjunction of our hearts and lives on July 8th!
