Our Wedding

Jared and Brie's love story has many chapters:According to Jared, his first memory of Brie was in 7th Grade German class. However, since this was mainly based off of her father, Wayne, bringing snacks to class, and Brie not being able to recall it...perhaps it should be said, that their flirtation started in Sophomore Year Chemistry class.Fast forward to Junior Year Math class, with paper plane notes being passed across the room, walks to lockers, drives to school, and a first date watching How to Train Your Dragon. Jared asked Brie to be his date to Junior Prom that year, where Brie was so nervous she hung spoons on her nose to break the tension. But both individuals had a lot of growth left ahead of them, and although the romance fizzled out, their friendship never ended.Over the next few years Brie and Jared found comfort in each other. Brie made every effort to be around Jared--whether it was at the local bar, a friend's house, in the city, or even a soccer game--she never wanted to miss a chance to be around her closest companion. While Jared, at the same time, would try to find any way to have Brie included in said plans and events.Skip to the Easter before Brie left for her graduate program abroad. She finally admitted she held more than feelings of friendship for Jared, and although he admitted the same, he said that he would not hold her back from the next chapter of her life. Over the next year, they spoke almost every day, no matter the time difference, and eventually it became all but certain that they would begin to date once she got back stateside, 10 months later.Their first official date was a bundle of laughs and trying to figure out how not to be uncomfortable with someone that they were both so comfortable being with. It wasn't until Jared flew down to Jacksonville, that they made the inevitable official. Shortly thereafter, the two were planning combined family dinners, taking trips up and down NJ to see one another, planning dates, going on adventures, and making plans for their future. Part of that future would include figuring out how to continue to build their relationship, while work took Brie down to Raleigh and kept Jared in New Jersey. They, however, had already separately made a decision to spend the rest of their lives together.Frequent trips up and down I- 95 only served to confirm what each already knew but had not officially said. The official part would not come until that fall. For their one year anniversary, in October 2019, Jared took Brie to Washington D.C. After a long dinner at Cafe Mozart, and an even longer walk along the National Mall, Jared walked Brie nervously around the Lincoln Memorial, got down on one knee, and asked Brie to make him the happiest man alive, by becoming his wife. After what felt like ages, Brie stopped her giggling long enough to say "YES!" and get the picture of the moment that was snapped by a stranger.Now, the overjoyed couple are enjoying the engaged life, still traveling between states, but knocking this whole wedding planning business out of the park! Let the count down continue!

One of the Mother of the Bride's favorites! This center is both educational and a powerful presentation of US history, right on the Philadelphia Mall, along with the Liberty Bell, Philadelphia City Hall and just a few blocks from Reading Terminal!

National Constitution Center

Start off at Devil's Creek Brewery in Collingswood, NJ (1 Powell Ln, Collingswood, NJ 08108) and enjoy a barely "legal" brew at this dry town's only Brewery. Next head to Keg &amp; Kitchen just a short walk to Haddon Township or "Twip" (90 Haddon Ave, Haddon Township, NJ 08108). Once you've had a refreshing beverage in that cool atmosphere--hop down to the Pour House in Westmont! (124 Haddon Ave, Haddon Township, NJ 08108) Tired of Beer? Never! But Jared is high class so he likes to stop at Treno Wine Bar (233 Haddon Ave, Haddon Township, NJ 08108) before moving on to the last and "best" stop. Finally, but CERTAINLY not least, Brewers Towne Tavern!!(239 Haddon Ave, Haddon Township, NJ 08108) A crowd favorite for Jared and Brie and their friends from high school. A perfect ending to a highly tested, full-proof Bar Hop.

Barnes Foundation

Spend an afternoon at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania. This greatly curated Estate changes with the seasons and is great for both rain and shine, as there are indoor gardens as well. Ticket admission. This is also the place Jared and Brie had their engagement photo shoot!

The Groom's Attendants 

Jared and Miles met on a soccer field many moons ago. Since then they have developed into amateur bibliophiles and fans of the Union. Miles is a long time supporter of the soon to be newlyweds. He is ready to take Jared off of Brie’s hands, whenever Jared starts talking about soccer or becomes too ridiculous. 

Miles Devine

Jake is the younger brother of Jared. Jared and Jake go way back. Jake will make for the perfect brother in-law and future, wacky uncle that everyone needs. Jake, who is also a history teacher, will make for a good person for Brie to send Jared to, when Jared starts to talk about teaching, soccer, or history too much.

Jared and James became fast friends after meeting at a Phi Sigma Kappa rush event almost a decade ago. James is Jared’s fraternity little and frequent co-host of various “Fancy Dinners” over the years. He helps to catch Jared up on pop-culture so that he can keep up with his much younger-minded, beautiful bride.

Ed is one of the people, who is most responsible for luring Jared into the world of Phi Sigma Kappa. The two met at a rush event, where they hit it off, especially after discovering that they were both Eagle Scouts. This jovial gentleman can light up a room with his sarcasm and infectious laughter. Ed has given Jared some good advice over the years, and Lord knows that he will need more of it in married life.

Jeff is one of Jared’s oldest friends. Since, meeting in grade school, the two have accomplished a lot together. Accomplishments include: Philmont, becoming Eagle Scouts, and successfully completing the “Dreaded Mr. Smith’s passageway”. 
Jeff is an old time friend of both the bride and the groom, and can translate Jared’s silliness to Brie, whenever necessary. 

Jeffrey Eker

Kerem is another one of Jared's great fraternity brothers. He is a scholar and gentleman to the end. However, do not be surprised, if his wild side comes out after dinner or if someone starts talking about soccer.  He is also a veteran of many "Fancy Dinners"  and should be expected to hold his own against the other groomsmen at the buffet table. I would give him 6/1 odds of coming out on top.

Kirby became Jared’s friend instantly after questioning the greatness of Manchester United and then challenging Jared to a game of FIFA. Rutgers would certainly not have been the same without him. Kirby was and still is heavily involved in several different Marching Bands, and has helped Jared to better understand Brie’s past with music in high school.

The Bride's Attendants 

Caroline and Brie met Sophomore Year of college at CUA, taking part in early-training as Orientation Advisers. The two quickly realized that they are two peas-in-a-pod and now enjoy spending time together with their men.

Caroline got married in the fall of 2018, where Brie was honored to be a bridesmaid. The two now both work at NetApp together, down in Raleigh, NC. Needless to say, it's nice for Brie to have her Maid of Honor a few steps away from 9-5 every day at Ne, and even sometimes on weekends.

Ally and Brie met their Sophmore Year of college as Orientation Advisors. 
Ally has put up with Brie's neediness much longer than Jared, so Brie is hopeful she with help Jared survive their marriage and give him some tricks of living with Brie (since she did it for almost two years). 
If anyone is ever curious about good places to eat in any major city in the North East, Ally probably knows a spot.

Alexandra Morrison

Aubrey and Brie have been friends since 7th grade of junior high (same year and German class as Brie supposedly met Jared). The two joined a lot of the same activities in high school, starting with Marching Band and Track, but ending in choir and the spring musicals.
Seeing as Aubrey has witnessed the happy couple's attraction since the beginning, followed its ups and downs, Brie now hopes they will continue to witness and support them through marriage.

Aubrey Bryan

Kate and Brie met in 1st Grade, while Brie still lived in Dover, DE.  Kate is the smartest and most caring person Brie has ever come to know and attributes this to how she has been raised. 
Kate and Jared met when Brie and Kate used to spend a week every summer visiting one another, but at that time Jared was just another face in the group of Brie's new friends. No one may have guessed that she would be witnessing their marriage within a year of her own wedding, where Brie will be her Maid of Honor. The two now, finally, live in the same state again, down in North Carolina.

Kate Garinger

Lauren is the closest thing to a little sister. They fought constantly as kids, but as soon as their teenager years, Brie and Lauren grew closer and enjoyed seeing each other succeed with each life chapter. 

Brie trusts that Lauren will be a life-long witness to her marriage to Jared--teaching him how to survive the Zschech family. She has experience with Brie being her opposite in most ways, and so probably has some advice to give Jared on dealing with his dramatic, loud, and high-maintenance wife.
