Britney & Drew met in the small town of Columbus, MS. Drew was stationed there for work as an Air Force pilot & Britney was working at the local TV station as a Meteorologist. The two grew fondly over each other quickly, and the rest is history.

On a warm, June 5th afternoon Drew headed home from work and asked Britney to go on a walk. Going for walks at the Columbus Riverwalk is an almost daily occurring adventure for the two, so Britney did not think much of it. The two headed off for there walk in gym clothes and a bottle of water.

The Columbus Riverwalk is about 2 miles, and about a quarter mile into the walk there are the remnants of an old burned down home. All that stands now is the slab and the fire place.

The two have explored the area many times before, and have even found a GeoCache capsule there.

Drew had suggested to go see if the capsule was still there and if anything new had turned up. Britney very reluctantly followed, snakes were very prominent this time of the year for the area.

Once out there, Drew asked Britney to check the capsule, and there laid a name tag that said Britney Warwick. Britney a little confused, thinking "what is this, a friendship badge" turned around to see Drew down on one knee.

Clearly, she said YES.
