Exit Airport and merge onto US-395 North – continue for 1.7 miles

Take Exit 68 toward I-80/Sacramento/Elko – continue for 0.2 miles

Merge onto I-80 West via the exit on the left toward Reno/Sacramento – continue for 31.7 miles

Take Highway 267 Exit #188 – which is the new by-pass route.

Travel South on Highway 267 for approximately 6 miles

Turn Right onto Highlands View Road

Travel up the road for 2.9 miles turning left at the sign to Hotel which is located at:

From the Bay Area & Sacramento Area

From San Francisco travel East on Interstate 80 for approximately 185 miles (3 hours) or

From Sacramento travel East on Interstate 80 for approximately 105 miles (1 hour 45 minutes)

Take Highway 267 Exit #188B – which is the new by-pass route. This is just after the last Truckee exit

Travel South on Highway 267 for approximately 6 miles

Turn Right onto Highlands View Road

Travel up the road for 2.9 miles turning left at the sign to our Hotel which is located at:

CAR SERVICE

Reno-Tahoe Limousine can provide transportation to and from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. Current rates are as follows: ·

Sedan (2 passengers) for $165 one-way, not including gratuity ·

SUV (4-5 passengers) for $187 one-way, not including gratuity ·

Van (8 passengers) for $200 one-way, not including gratuity ·

Small Limo (4 passengers) for $190 one-way, not including gratuity

*Number of passengers noted above is based on an average amount of luggage. Please be sure to inform if guests will be traveling with ski equipment. For the Concierge to secure transportation through Reno-Tahoe Limousine, a credit card authorization form must be completed. Please also provide ight information, number of travelers, number of pieces of luggage and a cell phone number should the driver need to get ahold of someone. Please note that as the sedans do not have four- wheel drive, an SUV is required during chain control restrictions. Children’s booster seats are available to reserve with advance notice and for an additional charge.

RENTAL CAR

A variety of rental car companies are present at the Reno-Tahoe Airport. The rental car pickup area is very convenient and just a short walk from the baggage claim area. Enterprise Rental Car is also available for one-day rentals (or longer), so guests can enjoy a drive around the lake, explore historic downtown Truckee or other Lake Tahoe sights. If the reservation is made in advance through the Concierge, Enterprise will drop off and pick up the car at the resort.

TAXI

Taxis charge approximately $150 each way between the Reno-Tahoe Airport and The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, excluding gratuity. Taxis are not always readily available in the area, so it is highly recommended that guests arrange this service through the Concierge well in advance.

SHUTTLE

North Lake Tahoe Express does provide shuttle transportation to and from the Reno-Tahoe Airport and other North Lake Tahoe stops. This service can be a more a ordable option, but they do have set times for pickups and drop-o s between the hours of 3:30am and midnight. Reservations are required a minimum of 24 hours in advance. UBER

Uber recently arrived in the Lake Tahoe area, and drivers can be in very high demand. Consult your app for details and availability.
