Our first date was fishing at Evergreen Lake.

Every winter we go to the Denver Zoo Light on a date night. Last year we walked in girlfriend & manfriend, and walked out engaged. December 5, 2015 we stopped to take a picture and as we stood there Allen was trying to ask me something...instead I walked away. He tries again saying "Hey Britta, can I ask you something?" Me being distracted says "ok" almost annoyed because we had more lights to see. Then he said "Will you marry me?" My answer "Are you joking?" To say I was shocked in an understatement. It could have not been better. After we went to celebrate with friends & family. It is one night we will never forget!
