Our Wedding

Tate and Brittan first crossed paths at Kansas State University, introduced through mutual friends. While they spent time in the same circles, neither thought much beyond casual hellos in group settings. That all changed in August of 2022. During a night out in Aggieville with her brother Mason, Brittan noticed someone familiar behind the bar—it was Tate. She remembered how kind and respectful he had always been and mentioned to Mason that she thought he was cute. As any protective brother would, Mason quickly shut the idea down—after all, this was his friend. Brittan couldn’t shake the feeling, and later that night over late-night food, she asked Mason for Tate’s number. What started as innocent conversation quickly turned into something much more. From the beginning, everything just clicked. Their connection was natural and easy. In no time, Brittan and Tate became best friends, fell in love, adopted a kitten, then a golden retriever, and knew they were building a life together. The saying “when you know, you know” became true right in front of their eyes. Just about a year later, Tate proposed. The couple has since moved to their hometown of Wichita, KS and are so excited for what lies ahead. They are counting down the days to say I do surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
