It all began on 3rd Street in Southeast D.C., where a young 12-year-old DeAndre first met 13-year-old Brittaney. Back then, DeAndre was just her nephew’s friend, quiet, kind-hearted, and secretly harboring a major crush on Brittaney. He never told her, though. Life had its own timing.

Years passed, and Brittaney went off to college, while DeAndre continued his journey. They lost touch, never knowing that fate had something beautiful in store. Fast forward to 2022, a swipe changed everything. Brittaney and DeAndre reconnected on the dating app BLK when DeAndre liked her profile. Brittaney recognized him instantly and matched right back.

Their first messages were full of catching up, nostalgia, and sweet compliments; each amazed at how the other had grown and flourished. Brittaney gave DeAndre her number, and it wasn’t long before they went on their first date... then a second... then a third. From that point on, they were inseparable.
