Our Story

In 2013 I had set out on an incredible life changing decision. I was living in Los Angeles and had enough of the autograph seekers and camera flashbulbs flashing all the time. My mind was made, I was moving back to Texas. I packed up all $300 worth of my possessions to my name and headed back to the lone star state. My brother, Corby, meanwhile had invited me to visit him while he was working in Europe as a mime street performer at the Eiffel Tower. This is the trip that inevitably changed my life for the better…forever. While in Ireland on a bus tour around the country I managed to somehow secure myself a full-time job in Arkansas…the motherland was calling me home.&nbsp;I arrived in Fayetteville Arkansas not knowing a soul, but excited about what the Lord had in store for me. After a few months of meeting neighbors and fantastic coworkers I was settling into my new life quite nicely. Our work team was introduced to a few new team members that were to begin collaborating with. There she was..a smile that could make the most hardened of hearts melt…eyes that pierced your soul…beauty the likes I had never seen before. Each day I looked forward to when she would swing by my desk and ask a question, I thought she already knew (sneaking little trick Brittaney). As time passed, we spent more and more time together, each day growing closer together. After several months we “gave up the fight” of not dating coworkers and we became “Facebook Official”. Through the years it has been a blessing to grow and learn from one another. It has been wonderful to watch the Lord move in our lives and continue to teach us compassion, forgiveness, and love. I am so excited to finally begin this next chapter with you. I cannot wait to wake up each morning next you. Most importantly…I cannot wait to call you, my Wife.

From Matt's Perspective

In 2007 I started my college career at the University of Arkansas, not really knowing much about the state or Razorbacks! I quickly fell in love with the mountains and people and knew I wanted to call NWA my home after graduation. I gave myself two months after graduation to secure a job before I would move back to St. Louis. A family friend that grew up with my dad and uncles helped me network all over the area and I secured my first job in February 2011 at a marketing agency. For a few years, my routine consisted of running after work with Luna (my German shepherd) and exploring NWA on the weekends. Matt seamlessly entered into my life and changed it forever. We were introduced to each other at work through the small team we worked on. He will try to claim he was my boss but in reality, we were just co-workers! At work, I found every excuse to talk to him and help on projects he was working on- even on the weekends. Luckily, I had his number memorized from all the event forms I had to fill out for work. I will never forget the first time we hung out with each other outside of the office- I knew immediately I wanted to spend more time with him. His laugh was infectious, and his personality was full of life.&nbsp; Over the almost eight years we have been dating, Matt has continuously supported me in every avenue of my life, surprised me, and loved me through all the time we have been together. He has introduced me to the Lord and guided me on building a relationship with God which I will forever be grateful for. Matt is my teammate for life. I can’t wait to fall in love, deeper, every day, forever with you Matt!

The closest airport is Northwest Regional Airport "XNA" which will be the easiest to fly into. There is rental car facilities in the airport or taxi/Uber/Lyft is readily available. Additional airports include Fort Smith (which is approximately 1 hr from Bentonville) or Tulsa, OK (which is about 1 hr 45 minutes from Bentonville).

For all of our Out of Town Guests... the NWA area is awesome to explore. It includes Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville- all within a 30 mile radius. Each city has their own downtown area full of local shops and restaurants. We are known for independent coffee shops and microbreweries- all of them are awesome! We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!

NWA is home to world class mountain biking! You can rent bikes through several shops and hop on a trail! There are hundreds of miles of trails in the area! Have fun!

Phat Tire Bike Shop

Crystal Bridges is a fantastic art museum located in Downtown Bentonville. Parking is free and entrance is free! It will typically take around 1-2 hours to walk around. There is also some outdoor trails around Crystal Bridges to walk or bike!

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art

Bentonville is a great area full of shops, activities, and biking- known for the Mountain Biking Capital of the World. Visit Bike Bentonville for all types of trails for all levels.
