BB's best friend during residency and beyond! They suffered the worst of the worst together (including some wild ICU shifts) and the most memorable. Shelby may have *nudged* Brandon to make the first move too.. There really couldn't have been a better MOH.

Blair and Brandon go way back...all the way to the playground in 3rd grade. They've been through it all together (school, sports, backpacking, etc.), and their discussions can get interesting as they both enjoy playing Devil's advocate. As a plus, Blair is always logical and to the point, so you can be sure the Best Man speech will be concise.

Once known as BB and Shelby's "only child" during residency, KP quickly went from "Joe's girlfriend" to confidante, colleague/work twin, and best friend. Not to mention, the unofficial party instigator of the Sqwad. KP and BB are now back to being work buddies, but in NYC!

Brandon's younger brother...and frequently mistaken as Brandon by friends (and family). While there have been many testy and competitive moments (Madden, basketball, car seating arrangements) over the years, there is nothing like a bond between brothers.

"Down for anything" as Heidi would always say. Which is why BB knew they would hit it off when Heidi agreed to go on a 10.5 mile hike up Mt Tallac on their day off work (3400 ft elevation gain!).. even after a night of revelry. They quickly went from work associates to close compadres. After 4 years, Heidi continues to fall for BB's "lies" when it comes to "short hikes" and always rises up to the challenge.

Forged in the fires of Medical School, this friendship fed on exhaustion and endless hours of studying, as well as beer, bourbon, and hours spent cooking in the kitchen. Max is credited with teaching Brandon almost everything he knew about food and drink before meeting BB.

The will-do-anything-for-sunsets, adventurer who likes to live life on the edge. Like BB, Huixia shares a love for outdoors and excellent food. She completes the Tiki Corner trio with BB and Heidi - you will find them catching up on the weekly chismis.

"I know we just met, but do you want to do a 2 week backpacking/road trip to Wyoming with me?" Since then, Ted and Brandon have frequently been spotted in the backcountry together. Ted is the human embodiment of a mountain goat, and likes climbing tall things, even during thunderstorms, before Brandon tells him to come down. Not to be confused with Gabe Wilds.

Becca is credited for BB's first meeting with Eric and Laurel as well as cornering the couple into acknowledging their "BF/GF" relationship status. Not just a younger sister to Brandon, but BB as well - the two gals are frequently losing track of time bonding over mocktails (or cocktails) before family events (whoops.)

Cousins since birth and roommates in college, Brandon and Jake's specialty has always been making large batches of easy-to-make food (pancakes, bagel dogs, egg salad, guacamole). Their palates have since become more refined, so you know there will be good food at any of their gatherings.

The man, the myth, the legend. Gabe started off as Brandon's roommate, then Brittany's intern not long after. In a way, he brought the couple together and noted the chemistry long before they even did. With a taste for the finer things and sports, Gabe was always down to share a glass (nay, bottle) of wine with Brittany or watch Monday Night Football with Brandon.. sometimes on the same night.
