Brittany and Anthony first crossed paths when Brittany transferred to Serra Catholic High School in 2013. Despite having some of the same classes and many mutual friends, the two spent their high school careers never speaking to one another.
Anthony went off to Robert Morris University where in a lucky coincidence, he ended up living on the same floor as Brittany’s brother, Tyler. The two of them became close friends. Back at school, Brittany spent her senior year building a close bond with Anthony’s mother, a Serra teacher.
Due to Anthony and Tyler’s friendship, Brittany began to see Anthony in group settings. When Tyler threw Brittany the infamous “Fake 21st Birthday Party,” Anthony was the first to arrive with a gift. At the same party, Brittany’s mother declared to Anthony that he would make “a great son-in-law,” even though she had only met him one other time.
Brittany and Anthony kept running into each other, but never hit it off until Anthony’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. Uninvited, Brittany showed up late after her lifelong friend, Jules Marshall, texted her to come. After a deep conversation between Jules and Brittany in Anthony’s bathroom at midnight, Brittany decided to give Anthony a chance.
The two began going on dates and quickly became serious about one another. With a shared love of dorky movies, Italian food, and spending time together, they became inseparable.
On June 27, 2022, Anthony proposed while on Brittany’s family vacation. The two are very excited to begin the next chapter of their lives together.
