What is the wedding day itinerary?

2:00 PM Ceremony at Houston Arboretum, this is a private event

6:00 PM Cocktail hour with music, the bar will be open

7:00 PM Dinner buffet opens

9:00 PM Bar closes, we will toast and cut cake.

Feel free to BYOB to keep the party going.

What time do I need to get to Houston Arboretum for the ceremony?

Please arrive by 2:00 PM, as the ceremony will start promptly at 2:30 PM. It is a .2 mile walk to get to the space, please plan for walking distance and shoes accordingly.

If I'm driving to the ceremony, can I park there?

Yes, there is plenty of parking around the Arboretum, parking has been prepaid. If you need a parking pass, please connect with us prior to the wedding day.

Will there be transportation provided from the ceremony to the reception?

Transportation will be provided for the girls in the wedding party to the Arboretum. The full wedding party will ride provided transportation back from the Arboretum to the reception. If you are at the ceremony and not apart of the wedding party, please plan to drop your car off at the hotel and ride the provided shuttle at 5:45pm.

Will there be transportation provided from the hotel to the reception?

Yes, a shuttle will be picking up guests at 5:45pm to bring you to the reception.

You’re welcome to stay longer but transportation will no longer be provided.

If I'm driving to the reception, can I park there?

No, parking is extremely limited, please plan to uber.

What do I wear?

Our dress code is garden party. Think spring colors. For men, linen suit or jacket. For women, fun floral patterns or silk, suggest block heal or wedge for comfort.

Will the wedding day events be held inside or outside?

Outside. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all outside. Reception will be both indoor and out, with dancing outside.

Can we bring a “plus-one” or children?

Besides who the invitation is addressed to, we are not allowing additional plus ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guest list just to those who know us well. We love your children so dearly, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate children on our wedding day.
