Our Wedding

Brittany and Richard met through mutual friends, who decided to host a Razorback basketball watch- party.&nbsp;Brittany knew that it was a blind date, Richard did not.&nbsp;&nbsp;On our first actual date, we were the last two in the restaurant, same for the second date. Conversation was easy, similarities were abundant, and we quickly began paving a path for a deeper relationship. After a few months, we fell into a pattern of cooking dinners for each other, meeting friends/family, and traveling together.&nbsp;In a year of firsts, Brittany experienced her first (but not last) duck hunt, and Richard had his eyes opened to a true Disney fan-natic! Following our engagement on New Years Day, we decided to add onto a previously planned family trip to Hawaii and we will be eloping in Kauai, Hawaii in July.&nbsp;&nbsp; Wanting to celebrate with all of our extended family and friends, we will be hosting our Reception in Fayetteville on Friday, October 17. We would like to encourage our out-of-town guests to make their accommodations at their earliest convivence. The reception will be the Friday before the home football game, Arkansas vs Texas A&amp;M, this will make for a fun and lively weekend but will also cause hotels to book up quickly so please plan accordingly.

Seasonal menu items and fantastic cocktails! Recommend reservations. <a href="https://hugosfayetteville.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Hugo's</a>- Favorite burger spot and a local staple! <a href="https://www.htgrilledcheese.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Hammontree's</a>- A grilled cheese spot that is just as funky as Fayetteville is. <a href="https://bordinos.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bordinos</a>- another fine dining experience right on the heart of Dickson Street, lots of action all around. <a href="http://doesnwa.com/fayetteville/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Doe's Eat Place</a>- if you're looking for a steak house Doe's is where you want to go, casual atmosphere amazing steaks. <a href="https://feedandfolly.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Feed and Folly</a>- great variety on their menu and everything is fantastic. Feed and Folly also has an awesome rooftop bar with a great view. <a href="https://www.thefarmerstablecafe.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Farmer's Table</a>- Great farm to table option, we love their brunch!

Johnson

<a href="https://www.wrightsbbq.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Wrights BBQ</a>- Hands down the best barbeque in Northwest Arkansas, located in Johnson. <a href="https://hailfellowwellmet.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Hail Fellow Well Met</a>- upscale brunch and dinner location, excellent patio area, located in Johnson. <a href="https://www.pizzeriaruby.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Pizzeria Ruby</a>- Arguably the best pizza in NWA, also known for good cocktails and homemade pasta. Recommend getting on their virtual waitlist via their website. <a href="https://www.lamedialunanwa.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">La Media Luna</a>- upscale Mexican food with delicious cocktails and live music on weekend nights. The restaurant is a converted gas station so don't let the exterior fool you it's a great spot.

Things to do

<a href="https://arkansasrazorbacks.com/football-tickets/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Razorback Football</a>- if you're planning to stay the weekend in NWA (and we highly encourage you do) the Razorbacks are hosting Texas A&amp;M Saturday Oct 18th. Win or lose it's still a great time tailgating and cheering on the Hogs. We'd love to keep the party going and see everyone at the game! <a href="https://crystalbridges.org/?gad_source=1&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQjwkZm_BhDrARIsAAEbX1GJOs-39mtJsn36I-db4WIWIDVzp8hrYAO4MQ9HeHoMbQTtT3C9CpsaAsuLEALw_wcB" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Crystal Bridges</a>- American Art Museum, the art is amazing and the grounds surrounding Crystal Bridges is equally as impressive. <a href="https://www.arkansasstateparks.com/parks/devils-den-state-park" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Devils Den State Park</a>- Great spot for hiking, about 25 minutes from downtown Fayetteville. <a href="https://www.arkansas.com/fayetteville/landmarks/fayetteville-downtown-square-gardens" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Fayetteville Square</a>- so many great restaurants, bars and shopping. Coffee -NWA has a growing coffee scene and we are here for it. So many great cafes and places to check out, here are a few of our favorites: Onyx Coffee Lab, Arsaga's, Puritan coffee and beer, Hero's Coffee, Airship, The Meteor
