How we met... Through "mutual friends" We both weren't looking for much at the time. We'd both just gotten out of relationships and seeing where things could go. Funny thing is.... after a lot of talking and getting to know one another, a couple of our previous exes had cheated and left each of us at the very same time to be with each other. Guess it might've been fate!

Corey & Sam's wedding.. Jason was a groomsmen. I was hospitalized for post-op gallbladder complications the day before. I BUGGED the crap out of my nurse to get discharged in time to be there with him... in hopes I would've got that ring for my birthday lol!

First big gift... my promise ring! Given to me for my 22 birthday. Funny thing is, it is almost identical to my mom's anniversary band... that is now my wedding band.

Before Mamaw King's funeral. I am so thankful she was around long enough to meet Jason and most importantly, approve of him. She and my mom both loved him as their own.

He asked and I said yes... I would include the official picture of us together but caveman and crocs are not exactly our best moments lol! He took me completely by surprise and asked me on my mom and dad's 28th wedding anniversary. Mom had just had her back surgery and I was dying to tell her... I wish I could relive that phone call again!

Daisy has finally accepted Jason as her human father... as if there was ever any question. She's loved him since the moment they met!
