Our Wedding

We met on February 15,2024 at Chukka. Troy was getting told off by Faith, for not letting her take pictures while we zip lined. I saw Troy and felt an immediate attraction and told Faith I wanted Troy to come out with us. Call it a birthday wish come true; the next night Troy came out and we had a ball. Drawn to each other like magnates, we’ve been inseparable ever since.

Barbados crop over begins the end of July; due to this the prices will go up as we get closer. If you can, book the trip as soon as possible. If you see a flight around $300 that’s great! The cost will only go up. This is especially true if you plan on staying at bougainvillea, due to the size of the resort. We have listed some fun activities available in Barbados below. We are arriving the 13th and leaving the 20th. Don’t feel pressured to stay the entire time.

Wedding Ceremony   This is a sunset wedding. The wedding ceremony will take place on the beach and the reception will take place on a deck like area with grass. Sandals or flats are recommended for the ladies. Due to the size of the venue there will be no plus ones. If you’d like someone to attend the wedding with you, we will place them on a standby list. If space becomes available we will reach out.   We are so excited to see you all there. If you are attending with a minors especially newborn to 12 yrs please let us know so we can notify the venue.

The US currency in Barbados is 2 to 1.Therefore US $1 is equivalent to $2bds.

The weather in Barbados can be extremely hot at times, with the occasional rain shower. Please walk with sunscreen and or sunblock.
