Ernest and I met in highschool during our junior year! During the time we both had different lifestyles and plans of our future. We created a strong friendship that was built on countless shared laughs, out of the spurt adventures & even late nights where we would talk about our experiences with the past and for the future. Ernest and I both were living in different directions until the night I got a call that sounded like something many of you have heard if you know him, “I got a new truck, do you wanna go riding?” It was the first time I had ever really went anywhere out and about with a boy and it continued for a whole week .. after that the rest was history, it was back road riding, ice cream before they closed, or finding a creek to jump in and cool off after we’ve spent all our time just fishing! Eventually while all the ‘rippin and runnin’ was fun- our life would quickly change , I would start back college and he would work until the sun went down, we coped with this until we had enough, Ernest and I began living with each other and spent every day and night beside each other, it became something neither of us could live without. My fairytale dreams were unfolding and the man of my dreams had been by my side now *fast forward* for close to just 2 years now.. Just when we thought we knew what we were doing God sure had a plot twist for us, we then were blessed and all at once nervous of knowing we would become parents of a perfect little girl. We were both 19-20 at the time and life had just begun for both of us, Ernest kept faith every day during my pregnancy and remained my biggest supporter. I can still remember he would always tell me “it’ll all be worth it.” It has not been easy and none of it has come with an instruction manual , though instead life came with a partner to walk hand in hand through every storm or shining day and I am beyond blessed to have been blessed with a story as ours.
Today we are here planning for our wedding, creating this website, ordering decor, setting up vendors , planning music lists and inviting all of our favorite friends and family to join us for what “was all worth it.”
