What should I wear?

Since the wedding will be held on the original Nevada Day (and Halloween), the event will be paying homage to Nevada's roots by embodying a Prohibition-Era theme. Think Great Gatsby, flapper dresses, sequins, geometric/deco patterns, men in flat hats and suspenders, and other vintage attire. What if I don't feel like dressing for the theme?

While dressing up is highly encouraged, it's not required. A black dress or suit will work just fine.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting, we plan to have an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour in the afternoon, and we will be moving the party indoors for the reception—all located on-property.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

The wedding venue is at The Elm Estate, 1401 W 2nd St, Reno, NV 89503, an easy 5 minute drive from Downtown Reno, with ample parking if you're arriving in your own vehicle.

Can I bring a plus-one?

If a plus-one has not been included in your original invitation, we ask that you refrain from bringing extra guests.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Not to worry! Please list your dietary restriction when you are filling out your RSVP and our caterer would be happy to accommodate with a personalized meal.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We have an amazing photographer and videographer that will be capturing all the special moments from the day, so we kindly ask that you join us in an un-plugged ceremony and refrain from taking photos. But feel free to take photos to your heart's content during the reception!

Can I post the photos I took at the reception on social media?

Heck yeah, we can't wait to see them!
