Once upon a time, Matt slid into Brittany's Facebook DMs. Little did Brittany know that Matt had been Facebook stalking her for a little while now. Pause, the craziest part about their story is they had lived down the street from each other their whole lives. They shared mutual friends and spaces entirely. God had a plan for the two of them and timing was everything. Back to the story, ever since that Facebook message nothing has been the same. They exchanged message for several months. It was over the summer after Brittany graduated high school that the two of them were finally in the same room at a mutual friend's party. They played drinking games together all night but nothing ever came from it. Matt may have been a little shy at the time. Several months had passed until Brittany randomly slid into Matt's DMs. From there it was on and off FB messaging until they reunited during Christmas break back home. It wasn't until May 25th 2013 that Matt and Brittany finally made it official as boyfriend and girlfriend. Their relationship wasn't easy due to distance. For those of you that don't know, they had about a 6 hour commute between the two of them. Matt went to Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX and Brittany went to Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. Although it was difficult, they learned and grew together to make it work through the ups and downs.	Matt graduated Texas Tech in December of 2014 and relocated to a small town called D'hanis TX to work at Nooner Ranch. Now they only had 2 hours of distance between to two of them which was a piece of cake. Matt was a trooper running on no sleep because he worked 24/7 but still coming to San Marcos to join Brittany and her friends in random festivities. Brittany was able to make weekend trips or week day nights to see Matt as much as possible. Once Brittany graduated in May of 2016, she moved to San Antonio, TX to begin her job at ADP. Now they only had an hour and a half drive (Making progress!)	Fast forward to July 29th 2019 - Brittany and Matt were in the Bahamas for Brittany's Presidents club trip with ADP. According to Brittany it was the best day of her life that afternoon because she got to swim with wild pigs on the beaches of Bahamas, but little did she know what Matt had up his sleeve that evening. They were taking couple pictures with all her co-workers on a beautiful lawn by the beach. It was their turn for pictures when Matt got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. After many colorful words and tears from Brittany, she said yes! About time after over 6 years of being together, am I right?We are beyond ready to celebrate with all our loved ones who have been a part of our journey. Get ready for the best party ever!!
