Our story begins in April 2019. After meeting online and exchanging texts for several days, we agreed to meet at La Cucaracha in St. Paul for dinner. After four hours of conversing, we realized all we had ordered was a bowl of chips and guac and several margaritas. We knew from that first date that we had something special. After dating for about a year, we, along with Brittany’s cat Ramona, moved in together to a townhome in Eagan. We navigated the first year of COVID together, and then adopted our dog Lucy in February 2021. On Christmas Day of 2021, Brett finally proposed with our pets as witnesses. Despite Brett’s stumbling speech and proposal, Brittany immediately said yes! After a few months of blissful engagement, we began our search for a new home. In October 2022, we purchased our first home together in Burnsville, which we absolutely love. Lucy has lots of space to roam outside, and Ramona has the biggest home she has ever known. Despite that, we usually find all four of us cramped together on a single couch or a bed, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are so thankful for what life has given us so far, and we could not be more excited for what comes next!
