Our Story

Thank you Hinge!

One day in August of 2022, I was scrolling through Hinge and saw Dave's profile. I was drawn to everything about him and decided maybe dating someone a little older and perhaps more mature could be a refreshing change. I clicked on his picture, he responded and, well, the rest is history!


Within a week of our first date, Dave met me to get my oil changed just to see me for a few minutes. We took this selfie in his car while we were waiting on mine.


I can remember how I felt on this day. I was already so drawn to him and couldn't wait to see him again!

Dave couldn't resist showing off his pilot skills (which clearly worked), so he took me flying in a Cessna at work. He even let me take the controls, and I was hooked!

Early on, Dave indulged me by going to a 90s hip-hop concert in Sundance Square. We laughed a lot and had a total blast!

We have flown a lot, taking day trips, weekend trips and even doing a sunset flight. We have amazing memories of this time together and the beautiful views!

About a year after we met, Dave converted some old VHS tapes to digital for me. In his words, he realized in the process that I am the same person I have always been. There was an immediate and definite shift in his feelings for me and we began to talk seriously about our future.

On Dave's 55th birthday, he quietly pulled me away from the party and led me outside. His daughter Reagan discreetly captured the moment he asked me to be his wife.
