It all began in the fall of 2017, when fate brought us together, and we quickly realized we had something special. Our connection grew as we bonded over a shared love for outdoor adventures, delicious food, animals, and traveling. Over the years, we've created countless memories together—whether hiking the rugged mountains of Colorado, soaking up the sun on South Carolina’s sandy beaches, exploring the vibrant streets of Chicago, or enjoying a peaceful stroll through downtown Cincinnati. No matter the destination, we’re always on the hunt for our next great adventure.

Life hasn’t been all play, though—we’ve both worked hard to build a future together. Jacob recently earned his bachelor’s degree in project management, setting his sights on growing his career at UPS, while Brittany celebrated earning her master’s degree in counseling. She is now in her fourth year of teaching with JCPS and has plans to transition into a school counseling role in the future.

In 2022, we embarked on another exciting journey by purchasing our first home in Louisville, Kentucky. Turning our house into a home has been a labor of love, and we’ve had plenty of fun (and challenges) along the way. Between balancing careers, home projects, and continuing our education, life has kept us busy—but we’ve always made time for the things we love.

In our downtime, you’ll often find us cooking up something tasty in the kitchen, solving puzzles, binge-watching documentaries and shows, playing video games, tending to our garden, or enjoying walks and hikes together. Of course, our two cats, Luna and Tyko, are always nearby, adding their own brand of charm and chaos to our daily lives. They’re not just pets—they’re family.

In April of 2024, Jacob asked the biggest question of all, and Brittany said yes! Now, we’re thrilled to take this next step in our journey as we plan our wedding—our latest and most meaningful adventure yet. We’re beyond excited to celebrate this special day with all of you on September 27, 2025. Your love and support mean the world to us, and we couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without you by our side. Thank you for being a part of our story—we can’t wait to see you there!
