Brittany and Drew met when Brittany was invited to join a work happy hour by a mutual friend and his girlfriend (shoutout Dau and Michelle!). They quickly connected over their shared home state, the ineptitude of California drivers, and their paths in life from New York to Pennsylvania to California (…Drew may have made 1 or 4 stops in between). The story of the end of that first night depends on who you ask: Brittany will tell you that she initially thought Drew was a “PB jerk” who flirted with her all night and then didn’t ask for her number..but Drew will tell you that he met an amazing girl, who he unfortunately found out “may or may not be single”, and did his best to leave a lasting impression. A few weeks later, Brittany and Drew were both attending a company holiday party, unaware that the other would be there. Brittany, determined to right the wrong of a few weeks prior, bee-lined for Drew and stole him away to give him her phone number. After some high-school level flirting, Drew mustered up the courage to invite Brittany to a concert. Specifically the ever-romantic stylings of Machine Gun Kelly and Young Thug (Drew may or may not have had tickets reserved at will call from the band…not a big deal). They had a great night, and thus began a series of dates. They went for drinks after work, hikes, and weekend road trips, which led to moving in together, meeting each others families, checking off as many National Parks as possible, and eventually a long-overdue international adventure to Italy where Drew would ask Brittany to spend the rest of their lives together.&nbsp; And no story of Brittany and Drew would be complete without their dog, Kodi. Kodak aka “Kodi” came into their lives in October 2020, and added something to their relationship that they didn’t know was missing. Kodi is the lovable ball of energy who Brittany and Drew love to come home to every night, and who loves to cuddle up in between them each night on the couch, once they’ve decided to stop planning their next event, recipe, or adventure! Brittany and Drew are so excited to celebrate their love with all of you in attendance! Thank you!

Kalina and I met at Penn's New Student Orientation, however we didn't become friends until standing in line for Alpha Phi rush - where Kalina's first impression of me was "who is that b*tch who keeps re-applying her red lipstick?". 15 years later, she is my matron of honor, best friend, and the JWow to my Snooki. Kalina continues to amaze me and there is no limit on what she can do, between getting her PhD in Clinical Psychology to studying for specialty boards while pregnant. Kalina has pushed me to expand my boundaries and never settle, and I wouldn't be who I am today without her.

Melissa and I have known each other for over 20 years and she has truly become a sister to me. We met in 7th grade at IS7 and have been by each others' sides from awkward middle school pool parties to high school prom to Long Island/Philly/Cali visits and now to marriage! Melissa has been my rock and I know I can always count on her. I am in constant awe of all that she does, especially watching her grow as an incredible mother! I am so grateful and the luckiest person in the world to have her in my life, I would be lost without you Melissa!

Jen and I met at Staten Island Tech. We bonded over our love for dance and are guilty of spending hours learning choreography from So You Think You Can Dance. Our high school friendship grew well into our now adult years, beginning with the many high school summer nights spent in my backyard and learning SING/Dance Team dances in my living room, and now to visiting each other whenever we are both home. Jen is the most creative and thoughtful person and I am so happy to have her part of my life.

Pam and I met almost 11 years ago in OT school at Thomas Jefferson University, shout out to alphabetical order grouping us together for assignments! We quickly bonded over the NY sass we brought to Philly, our love for food and travel, and our passion for occupational therapy. Together, we decided to take the risk of a lifetime and drove across the country to California as Travel OTs. We continue to grow our friendship as local San Diegans now and I am so happy that we are out here together living our dreams in California!

Michelle and I met by happenstance in 2018. She too moved from the East Coast to San Diego and after joining a travel therapy Facebook group, discovered we were both tiny humans, both worked for Kaiser and lived around the block from each other! She has elevated my desire for travel and I love exploring places together that I never imagined I would be able to go to (shout out to Patagonia!). I also have to thank Michelle and her soon to be husband Tony (aka Dau) for introducing Drew and I, we wouldn't be celebrating this amazing day if it weren't for you both!

Lindsay and I met at Penn early on in our Alpha Phi days, only to later find out she also had some Italian Staten Island in her blood. This started a friendship that consisted of dancing on many elevated surfaces, traveling across Europe, and coast-to-coast trips to see each other. It has been amazing watching Lindsay grow throughout her career and take on her new family role as an Aunt! Lindsay is the most loyal person and I am so thankful to have her as my friend.

Jenna and I quickly bonded from the first day Drew introduced us. I never met someone who could answer my text messages before I even sent them - it's like she is in my brain and knows me better than I know myself! Jenna is a go-getter and will go above and beyond for anyone, even waking up early to be first in line to bring home rainbow cookie donuts whenever I come home to Rochester. I can depend on Jenna for anything and know she’s always in my corner. I’m so lucky to have her as my new sister!

Brooke and I have spent many hours chatting around the kitchen island getting to know each other over the past few years, and we are lucky to continue those conversations now with her living here in California! When she isn't out there being an incredible nurse, you can find Brooke cuddled up on a couch (sometimes along with Kodi). Brooke has been there for me since we met and it feels like I have known her my entire life. I am so excited for all the things to come in the future as new sisters!

RJ and I met when we were 6 years old, and over the last 20+ years, we’ve been best friends, defensive partners, fellow benchwarmers, BROad Trip companions, and fall men for the infamous Spencerport Middle School Powerade Heist. We have been friends through every stage of our lives and always found time - whether hanging out between periods, driving between colleges, or coordinating bi-coastal hang outs - to stay updated on each other’s lives. And if ever our teams meet up in a playoff series, I know that RJ and I will be sitting on FaceTime from beginning to end, trash-talking and laughing. RJ has always been someone that I’ve been able to count on and confide in, and I am honored to have him as my Best Man!

Mick and I are 6 months apart in age, and were largely inseparable throughout our childhood. Mick has always been one of my best friends, and I am glad to say that we still stay in touch on a daily basis. Mick and I spent the majority of our childhood competing at whatever game or sport we could find (or make up), and whatever time was left over was primarily spent eating our body-weight in Uncrustables and Freeze Pops. The annual family baseball trips also afforded us the opportunity to wander through some of the most legendary ballparks, and to create and share many of our favorite childhood memories. As adults, we have taken advantage of opportunities to visit each other wherever we happen to be living. As our lives have changed and gotten busier, we have remained close, and I am extremely grateful for that. I couldn’t imagine getting married without having Mick up there with me.

Brendan is my older cousin, and has been a older-brother figure since we were children. I have a deep appreciation for the way that our relationship has evolved from children to teenagers to adults, and really enjoy our friendship as we move into the next chapter of our lives. Brendan is an honorary alumni of Syracuse University (probably), and one of my favorite memories was our whirlwind trip to see the last Syracuse/Georgetown game as Big East rivals, which included lots of travel, pushing a parked car across a driveway, and an infamous bus selfie. Brendan is expecting his first children (twins!) in September, and I could not be more excited for him and his wonderful wife, Betsy.

Nick is my oldest cousin and, more importantly, my buddy. Nick has always been like an older brother to me. He has always looked out for me, checked in with me, and I am eternally grateful that he chose me to be the Godfather to his incredible daughter, Anna. We have tons of great memories - from Bills games and baseball trips as children, to traveling to see each other on opposite ends of the country as adults - and many more to come. Plus, Nick set the trend for 3 out of 4 Minunni men to marry women from the greater New York City area - a true trailblazer!

Casey and I met in kindergarten. Casey wore a Power Rangers t-shirt (because he was 5 years old), and I wore a sweater vest and khakis (because I wanted to get beat up). We have remained friends since kindergarten, and whenever I come home I know that Casey and I will find time to catch up. We stay up late reminiscing about stories from our childhood, trading guitars to show off the songs we’ve been learning, and inevitably making our way to the basement for a jam session (typically an intimate private show for our 1 loyal fan, Casey’s wonderful wife, Kelsie). Casey has always been a constant in my life and, for that, I am extremely grateful.

Joe and I met at Duquesne, and quickly became great friends. Despite going from sitting 2 feet away from each other for 3 years, to living across the country from one another, we have stayed close friends - primarily through stand up comedy references, and a healthy exchange of memes (both horrible and hilarious). Joe is one of the most genuine and driven people I know, which is something I have always admired.

Brandon “Lanolin…like sheep’s wool?” Lally has been one of my best friends from nearly the second I stepped onto Duquesne’s campus, as we went from living across the hall from each other to adjacent off-campus houses. Brandon and I have spent many late nights discussing life and our careers, and exponentially more nights playing chel, dominating Duquesne’s deck hockey scene, and drinking the cheapest beer Black & Gold had to offer (shoutout Kathy & Pennsylvania Style!). Despite being less than a year apart in age, I have always looked up to Brandon. I am happy to say that we have a friendship that spans over a decade, and across the country.

Andrew is the oldest of the Johansen brothers. Andrew and I have bonded over a love of music and antipasti. The 2 pillars of any good relationship. It's always a good time getting to compare musical interests or artists that we've been listening to between opportunities to get together.

Doug is the 2nd oldest of the Johansen brothers. Doug and I have bonded over a love of travel, hiking, and skiing/snowboarding. We always have a great time whenever we're able to get together!

Matt is the youngest of the Johansen brothers. Matt and I instantly bonded over our shared love of hockey. Matt is a huge Rangers fan, but will be the first to admit that the Sabres are a far superior team...(okay, I may have made that last part up). I always enjoy catching up with Matt whenever we head to New York, or he is able to come out to California.

Mark is Drew’s Uncle, as well as his Godfather. As his Godfather, Mark has always been a source for unconditional advice and support. Mark is chiefly responsible for many of Drew’s team affiliations, primarily the St. Louis Cardinals. Through many years of birthdays, Baseball Trips, Buffalo Bills and Sabres games, and Brew House lunches, Mark has always been there for Drew. When the time came to bring Brittany home to Rochester, Mark was the one of the first people that Brittany had to meet. They got along instantly. So when the time came for us to pick an officiant, we immediately thought of Uncle Mark. We are thrilled to have him play such an important role in our wedding!
