Our Wedding

It all started one December night in 2018 at Heroes Bar in downtown Fullerton. Chris was invited out to drinks and hang out with his coworker who was dating Brittany’s coworker. Brittany remembers the first time she laid eyes on Chris and how he walked up to their table to tell a story of something he saw outside. She couldn’t remember the story, just that there was a cute guy who she couldn’t stop staring at and that he couldn’t stop staring back. Soon after meeting that night, they spent many weekends in downtown Fullerton in groups to get to know each other. This is ironic considering they both did not spend much time going out to bars before meeting each other. As Brittany and Chris spent more time together and became boyfriend and girlfriend, they found that they were both family oriented, goal oriented, travel loving, and loved serving others. This was shown as Brittany became a nurse and Chris works with special needs youth. The past 5 years has included lots of traveling to Campland, Chris’ childhood camping spot, weekends in San Diego, going on cruises and many more destinations. Chris has brought out a more adventurous side in Brittany, while Brittany has brought out a more driven side in Chris. Chris has been a Padres fan/ San Diego fan for many years so when it came to proposing, Chris knew it had to be at Petco Park, the Padres stadium. On December 31, 2022 they were on a tour of the stadium and Chris told Brittany “There is something I have been wanting to ask you for a while now. Here we are at home plate and you are my home. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” As you can guess she said “Yes!”

Curtis has seen it all. Curtis has been my leader and my guidance my whole life. He’s seen the bad and the good times. I was his best man and now he gets to be my best man! We have lived together a majority of our lives and are so close we share walls at night! My favorite memory is when we go camping every summer to campland in San Diego with the WHOLE family.

My sister, what can I say. She has been there for me since day 1, when I was born on her 6th birthday. Throughout the years she has taken care of me, been there for me endlessly, and taught me valuable life lessons. I am so grateful God gave me her as a sister. A fun memory I have with her was the trip to Austin for our mom's birthday. There were so many good memories from that trip that I cannot repeat but one of the best was my mom and her going to the museum with me and both of them pretending to be asleep the whole time.

Tyler and I have been best friends since early childhood and throughout school. We spent this time in Boy Scouts and eventually earned our Eagle Scout awards before turning 18. My favorite memory with Tyler is when we backpacked more than 100 miles in New Mexico with Boy Scouts.

I have known Ashley since I was an infant. We have gone on so many trips and fun adventures together. Some fun memories we have is going to the Jurassic Park movie premiere and yelling at Chris Pratt to take a picture with us, going to the Ellen Show x2, and Las Vegas adventures before and after I was 21 years old. I am grateful for her thoughtfulness in our friendship.

I have known Crystal as long as I have known Ashley. I cannot imagine my life without them. Even though I was like the little sister growing up that tagged along, they never made me feel out of place or uninvited. I have so many memories of our adventures of going to concerts like Lady A, Justin Timberlake, and Old Dominion to name a couple, sisters day at Disneyland, apple picking, Oktoberfest, and many more. I am grateful for her always being the easy going friend in our sister group and voice of reason.

Kaylin and I have known each other since Kindergarten. I am so grateful for her friendship throughout the years. Some fun memories are our Hollywood touring days, Haunted nights at Queen Mary, and eating pizza on hotel floors. I am grateful for her loyal friendship through the years.

Conner is a friend that Brittany introduced me to when we met and instantly we had a fun relationship. I have loved creating new memories including camping, grilling and enjoying the outdoors.

I have known Alexa since we were 5 years old and little Daisy Girl Scouts. Alexa is a faithful friend who I know will always have my back. My favorite time with Alexa is double dates with her and her husband, Conner, and that they always end in a trip to Rich Farms Ice Cream.

Jeffrey is also a friend that Brittany introduced to me when we first started dating. We have a lot of love for sports especially baseball. Even though he is an Angels fan, we make it work. We have been to quite a few baseball games together and have great memories from these games.

I have known Aubree since 5 years old as well. We did Girl Scouts from Kindergarten through Senior year of high school with Alexa. Aubree has always been a great listener when I need someone to talk to. One of my favorite memories with Aubree is wine tasting at Wilson Creek and just having a fun time together.

Christian is my nephew who is 8 years younger than me. Together my brother and I helped guide this guy to who he is today. He's lived with us for so many years he is like our little brother at this point.

Lana and I met 5 years ago when I started dating Christopher. We quickly became friends and I can't wait for Lana to become sister.  I know I can always turn to her and she will be there for me. My favorite time with Lana is spending time around the campfire in Campland.

Oh Drew and Luke, how we love being their Auntie and Uncle. If you don't know Drew and Luke are twins! We had been dating for 3 years when Drew and Luke were born. We have watched them grow and become the spunky toddlers they are now. Uncle Chris loves to cook with Drew and see Luke wear his padres hat backwards just like him.

Addie is Drew and Luke's unofficial triplet. We have loved watching Drew, Luke, and Addie grow and play with each other. Addie is always so sweet and giving the best big smiles.
