Phillip and Brittany met in Santiago, Chile in March 2014. At the time, Phillip was working for Deloitte in Santiago and Brittany was visiting taking some (well-deserved!) vacation. They were connected through a mutual friend, David, and had a fabulous first weekend together celebrating Easter and exploring the city. Neither Brittany nor Phillip thought that a relationship would come out of this weekend until Phillip started to ping Brittany on their Deloitte instant messenger every day for six months... When Phillip accepted a job in Chicago, IL in October 2014 he asked Brittany to come visit for the weekend. She made the bold move to go and definitely does not regret it! They started dating 'officially' shortly after that weekend and the rest, they say, is history.

How We Met

On April Fools Day 2016 Phillip proposed to Brittany in Geneva, IL out on a bridge overlooking the Fox river. She said YES but didn't realize there were more surprises to come! Phillip had purchased plane tickets back to Atlanta for the weekend where he had also facilitated a surprise engagement party with family and friends. It was a weekend to remember and Brittany gives special props to Phillip for buying an engagement ring that was ethically sourced :0)

Brittany and Brandie met in middle school but got close during their time in AXO as big/little sisters in the sorority.   Brandie is one helluva engineer and paves the way for what it looks like to serve Jesus, love others, and use that big brain of hers to conquer the world.

Mei Lin is Phillip's oldest sister but sometimes Brittany thinks they are actually twins.  Mei Lin helps lead a start up in NYC called One Fine Stay and is definitely one of the most creative people we know.  Mei Lin is thoughtful, kind, and driven and inspires both Brittany and Phillip daily!

Patty and Brittany met in Alpha Chi at Georgia Tech and got really close when they started doing a bible study together in college.  Patty is the picture of a servant's heart and the light of Jesus shines through her in the most genuine and amazing way, especially in the way she loves others.

Nicole and Brittany met freshman year of high school and became best friends instantly.  Nicole has seen the best and the worst with Brittany and actually taught her how to pray when Britt first became a Christian.  There's no one as down to earth and practical as Nicole and she is amazing.

Gaby and Brittany met in FAB, a freshman leadership organization, at Georgia Tech, which totally makes sense given the fact that Gaby is the most ambitious person we know.  Gaby puts 100% into everything she does and inspires us to pursue Jesus harder and go at our careers stronger.

Audrey and Brittany also met in FAB their freshman year at Georgia Tech.  Audrey has traveled the world more than anyone our age that we know and inspires us with her willingness to adhere to God's plan wherever He takes her.  Audrey is beautiful, kind, and incredibly adventurous.

Melissa and Brittany met at a CNN camp when they were 16 then became sorority sisters and roomies.  Brittany used to joke that Melissa was her soul mate so when she got married December 2013 there were tears.  Melissa is brilliant, full of grace, and so faithful to her friendships even across the country in Seattle!

Shelley was Brittany's hall leader Britt's freshman year but they became best friends quickly through frozen yogurt runs and baking brownies.  Shelley is one of the most wise, ambitious, and generous people we have ever met and she exudes the love of the Lord in everything she does.

Caroline and Brittany met at Georgia Tech and were involved in one million bible studies.  Caroline inspires Brittany in the way that she lives her life so purposefully.  Caroline is the strongest and most dedicated person we know and inspires us to trust God in His plans for us! 

Caroline McKelvey - Team GT 

Savannah and Brittany met at GT (same AXO family!) and also work together at Deloitte.  Brittany knew that she and Savannah would be best friends because they were the same person and had the same goals.  Savannah wants to change the world and has a heart for service that is incredible and inspires us.

Savannah Andersen - Team GT 

Diya and Brittany met at Deloitte during their onboarding and there was an instant connection.  Diya started pursuing Jesus a few years ago and her passion and fervor in pursuing Him are unlike anything we've ever seen.  She is brilliant and beautiful and exudes hope, love, and grace.

Diya Kapur - Team GT (by default)

Christi is Phillip's middle sister and is incredibly creative and organized.  In the Ng family she is the one you want to entrust your car keys and plans to!  Brittany has loved getting to know Christi the past few years and is so excited to officially be sisters.

Molli is Phillip's youngest sister and is the most incredible dancer - expect her to get the dance party started at the wedding.  She's full of life and energy and teaches Phillip and Brittany all of the cool things kids these day say and do. We love you Molli!

Wesley achieved "best man" status in this wedding based on a competitive tournament which ranked the groomsmen on the basis of bench press, bear wrestling, burger grilling, and bake bean eating. Competition was fierce, but ultimately his superior bean eating skills took the day.

Bryan is Brittany's brother and he will literally destroy anyone who ruins his sister's big day.

Jarrod is the rootenist, tootenist football coach in Georgia. He is the first AAAAA coach to have a dog play on his high school team, Air-Bud style.

Jarrod Shirley - Team UGA 

Trey is currently pursuing his MD at Duke. He is the only groomsman to have delivered a baby. It was his own child. He is currently studying links between vaccinations and autism. Ask him about it.

A lover of all things Latin, including tacos and bachata, Mark believes himself to be Pablo Neruda reborn.

Garret is an aspiring husband and a competitive Uber driver.

Akil is the only groomsmen to have ridden a killer whale. It was while he was chasing down a dolphin which had stolen his fishing rod.

A second year law student at U. of Pen, Robert acts as the wedding's in-house legal counsel. So far, he has helped the bridal party successfully fight off a number of lawsuits including one certain bachelor-party-related defenestration case which will not be discussed at length here.

Parking will be available at Ashton Gardens but we encourage our guests to either take the shuttle from the hotel or grab an uber - no drinking and driving at this party!

If you are flying into Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport please be aware that the airport is on the south side of the city and all wedding activities are on the north side. It is most advised to plan flights to arrive earlier than 2 pm ET if traveling on Friday - otherwise prepare to be welcomed to Atlanta with 1.5-2 hours of traffic!
