Kyle and Brittany met each other on a dating site. After talking , Brittany and Kyle decided to meet. They had their first date at Angee's restaurant in Olean, NY. Kyle was waiting inside Angee's as Brittany walked up to the door, and kept on walking by. Oops! She quickly turned around and went in to meet Kyle. Kyle greeted Brittany with a rose, which she dried and still has hanging on a picture frame. They talked for a couple of hours and that's where their story begins.

On March 11, 2016, Kyle and Brittany left school and traveled to Buffalo, NY to spend the evening with some friends and family; we went to dinner and to watch a Bandits game. After the game, we all decided to go to the 716 bar. However, Brittany and Kyle decided to take the scenic route to check out Canal Side, to look at the lights and ice skating rink. When we got to the foot bridge above the beautifully lit up ice skating rink, Kyle got down on one knee and asked Brittany to marry him. She, of course, said yes!
