Although Brody and Brittany’s love story is not the typical Hallmark fairytale, it is one of love, patience, and a little good fortune. It is a story they are proud to tell, because it brought them to each other. It is also a reminder to themselves that orthopaedic surgeons and anesthesiologists can get along. Thank you all for your support and your thoughts on our wedding day. Brody and Brittany's paths initially crossed in April 2023 while working together in the SICU. However, their true connection didn't spark until a month later, when fate brought them together once more in the PACU. It was here that Brody discovered Brittany's newfound passion for pickle ball, a detail that he would ultimately use as a conversation starter a short while later. As time unfolded, what began as sporadic exchanges gradually evolved into daily conversations. The couple eventually scheduled a date for dinner and cocktails on Saturday, August 26th. However, as fate would have it, they found themselves together at the Smash Mouth concert the night before. Following several conversations, enjoying a couple laughs, and sharing their first kiss, an immediate, undeniable connection sparked between them. In that moment, they both knew they had discovered their soulmate. In the short time period afterward, Brody and Brittany’s relationship and love for one another blossomed quickly. They have since moved in together and enjoy making weekly dinners and cocktails, date nights, concerts, and traveling. Then, on the 17th of March, Brody decided that he couldn’t wait any longer and asked Brittany to be his wife. Their love continues to grow every day, and they are excited to commit their lives to each other.&nbsp;
