in March of 2023, Stephen accepted a job in New Hartford, New York. Things changed quickly over the next few weeks as he began to move to New York and Brittany finished out her final season at Somerset Hills. On March 31st, 2023, their last night in our first apartment together, Brittany was zipping up her jacket to leave for dinner and turned the corner to Stephen down on one knee. She didn’t believe him at first but then realized he was being serious and said yes!

fun fact: the ring was not ready to pick up from the Jeweler (even though they called and told Stephen it was ready to be picked up). He proposed with a $60 Cubic Zirconia ring from Walmart. Don’t worry, Brittany got her ring the following day!
