Brittany first remembers meeting Austin at West Kentucky 4-H Summer Camp in 2010 . Camp Magic happened when Austin happened to think she was cute. On the last night during mega relay, when the whole camp was in one location - they snuck down to the boat dock and had their fist kiss under the pale moonlight… Only to get CAUGHT leaving the woods together!! Brittany continued crushing on Austin but Austin was in college doing hood rat stuff with his fraternity friends and she was in high school. (Oops neither knew each others age when they kissed)

Fast forward two years and Brittany is a freshman moving into her dorm at the University of Louisville. Her and her mom walk to the sidewalk to take their puppies for a walk and that’s when she sees him. Could it be? Omg it’s her camp crush - Austin riding a bike down the sidewalk. Right. At. Her. He stops to chat, is nice to her mom and invites her to hang out once she settles in.

They hang out. Austin brings Brittany a red rose to her dorm room from his fraternity and it was cool but Brittany’s camp crush is dimmed when he doesn’t make a move.

Classes begin fall of 2012 and they wave hey at the intramural fields or when they pass by but since Austin is much older he isn’t around UofL but for just two years. He was in his masters when Brittany was just a wee little freshman. They live their lives and pursue their dreams and do cool shit separate from each other but always keep up through Instagram as friends.

The year is 2016 now and Brittany is working her 3rd Summer on Camp Staff at the Summer Camp where they first met. It’s halfway through the summer and a new camp week is pulling into camp. That’s when she sees him - Could it be? Austin again? Sure was! They ended up chatting and catching up throughout the week and followed each other on instagram to keep up with each others lives.

The time is fall of 2019 now and Austin slides into Brittany’s DMs on instagram. He ends up coming into town for the holidays and they hang out one night AS FRIENDS. That night, Austin bought Brittany a plane ticket to help him move from Los Angeles to Seattle for work at SpaceX. January rolls around and Austin Smith drives Brittany to Nashville to catch a plane to LA. Brittany’s plane touches down at night and she makes her way to Austin’s crayola orange Subaru Crosstrek. Austin takes her to a speakeasy bar and they sing karaoke the whole night. Literally there’s so much more but the rest was history. Brittany never wanted to be apart from Austin again.
