We will be staying here April 8 - April 14 if you would like to stay longer, the reduced room rates for weekday and weekend prices will be honored starting April 6 and ending April 15.
The hotel is pet friendly if you need/want to travel with yours!
Luis Munoz Marin International Airport
This will be the Airport you will fly into. The photo is taken off the Fairmont El San Juan’s website and the hotel is marked with a gray “F”. The airport is less than 10 minutes away by car from the Fairmont.
Uber is our first suggestion to get to the hotel. If you have more than 4 people in your party and large luggage, order an uber XL to make everything more roomy.
According to the hotel, Taxi Turistico from airport to hotel is $14 per taxi plus $1 for each piece of luggage. From 10:00pm to 6:00am a charge of $1 per trip applies.
If you are planning a self travel day to drive and or hike El Yunque then you’ll need a rental car to enter the park. Uber cannot take you and drop you off and there is no service for return even if they could.
For rental cars, you can check out Isla Verde Rental Cars for a traditional route OR rent off of the app Turo. If you’ve never used the Turo app, it’s like “air bnb” for cars and Austin and I have rented the coolest vehicles on our travels this way.
