Hank and Brittany originally met in 2013 when they were both attending Bradley University in Peoria, IL. Although they never officially dated in college, there was always a spark between them. They remained friends throughout Hank’s time at Bradley. They mostly hung out at fraternity/sorority events. They even went to a couple of formals and date parties together (see picture below 😂). Brittany was secretly sad when she found out Hank was leaving for the University of Georgia (go dawgs!) at the end of 2014. They both went their separate ways for a few years, about 6 years to be exact. Then, one random day in August of 2021, Hank decided to reach out to Brittany via SnapChat while she was in Scottsdale, AZ celebrating her best friend, Halie’s, bachelorette party. They instantly reconnected. A week or two after Brittany returned home from Scottsdale, Hank surprised Brittany with a beach-themed date night at his parent’s house in Washington, IL. He drove ALL the way from Nashville, TN just to surprise her. Little did Brittany know, Hank’s parents were out of town (shhh, don’t tell them! 😉). He went ALL OUT. From wearing a Hawaiian shirt and flip flops, to pouring sand on his parent’s deck, and playing Jimmy Buffett in the background, it was the perfect night. Not to mention, Brittany got to meet sweet June Bug 🐶 that night! Hank continued to drive from Nashville to Peoria, IL just to visit Brittany. Eventually, Hank got tired of all that driving and moved back to Illinois. They officially started dating in September of 2021…and the rest is history! ❤️
