2015ish- The year Chris and Brittany meet. Brittany is friends with Chris's brothers and their now wives, so she saw him around here and there.


2018- After years of seeing each other at Nonneman events and parties, this is the year Chris asks Brittany on a date. The first date was amazing, and so much fun. However, that day Chris found out he was moving to Charlotte for work. They went out a couple more times, but ultimately knew it couldn't go anywhere. Who wants to do long distance, right?


2020- The year they went out again. Chris and Brittany still saw each other throughout the years, again at Nonneman events and gatherings. They would always end up sitting together and catching up, laughing, and flirting. When Chris came to town for Christmas in 2020, he asked Brittany on an official date. Let's call it the 2nd first date. Another amazing date and fun time was had.


2021- The year things get serious. Chris asked Brittany to come visit him in Charlotte, and Brittany made an effort to see Chris when he was in Atlanta. Finally, on one of those Charlotte trips in February, Chris asked Brittany to make things official. Their relationship began (long distance after all)! Chris moved to Charleston, and they did a great job of making the long distance work. Each would travel to the other about once a month. They even spent Thanksgiving together in Mexico.

2022- The year of Brittany moving to Charleston. Chris, Brittany, and Marshall start making a home together. They attend many weddings and have some travel adventures.



2023- The year of the engagement. In the summer, Chris and Brittany get ready for a month in Costa Rica for Chris's sabbatical. Within 30 minutes of getting to their rental house, Chris proposed! He just couldn't wait any longer! Let the celebrating and wedding planning begin.

2024- The year Brittany and Chris get married and buy a house. Exciting things to come!
