We are beyond excited to share this experience with our favorite people and can’t wait to have a fun vacation with you all in Puerto Vallarta! We hope you love this place as much as we do! Our Wedding

Brittany and Bo met as most modern romanaces do, on a dating app, they both swiped right and it was a match! Bo messaged Brittany, explaining that he wasn't much of a texter, but he would love to take her out for dinner that weekend. She let him know she had tickets to the Seattle Dragon's XFL game, and he obliged her by joining her for the football game in the rain, but despite the weather they had a great time! They decided to continue the date and head over to the International District for dumplings at Dough Zone. They both noticed a connection that night and stayed up late talking and getting to know each other.

A couple days later Bo came over to make a halibut dinner for them that he had caught himself while on a fishing trip to Alaska with his dad, and then she was hooked! They never stopped spending time together since that date in April. The more time that they spent together, Brittany realized he was a great dad, hard working, funny, sweet, handsome, a wonderful cook, and she could tell he genuinely wanted to take care of her, make her happy and spend as much quality time with her as possible. Brittany brought him lunch to work a couple times and he was then he was in love! He also loved how she pushed him out of his shell, and made him do things he never thought he would do. They always have the best time together and are constantly making each other laugh.

Brittany tried to act as if she didn't wanted to jump into anything serious too quickly, but within a month they had booked their first vacation, a trip to Vegas to see one of their favorite comedians. They had the best trip and they knew it was a good sign they could travel well together! They knew that this was special and this relationship had potential for a life long future.

Over the next year they had many adventures and shared some amazing experiences! They moved into a home together in North Seattle, along with Bo's son Bryant, and their weenie dogs, Rusko and Jack, a puppy they adopted as a family. They love to spend time together relaxing at home, cooking, watching movies, going for walks with the dogs, going to the park or lake and playing games with Bryant, spending time with friends and family, traveling, going to Mariner's games, seeing comedy shows and concerts, and more!

In April of 2024, Brittany and Bo traveled to Puerto Vallarta for a beach vacation at the Hyatt Ziva for their anniversary. On the second day of the trip Bo proposed during the most romantic candle lit dinner on the beach at sunset. They met with their wedding planner, picked their venue locations, and did food and beverage tastings during this trip and got a jump start on the wedding planning! They spent the rest of the trip enjoying the pools, beaches, snorkeling, massages, gorgeous views, culture, beauty, and endless food and drinks the resort and the amazing city of Puerto Vallarta has to offer! They couldn't be more excited to share this experience with their family and friends in April of 2025!

Leila Ludwig

Brittany and Leila met in 6th grade and have been best friends since then! Even when Leila moved to California in high school they found ways to keep in touch, either on the phone or by meeting up in Palm Springs when Britt would travel there with her dad. They have been inseperable since Leila moved back to Washington and spent many holidays, birthdays and other special occasions together! They love to go camping, try new yummy places to eat, travel, be crafty, be cozy, and have game nights! Brittany introduced Leila to her husband Brandon and was her maid of honor at her wedding and she can't wait to have her stand by her side and return this special favor!

Miranda Rose

Miranda is Brittany's baby sister, even though they are almost 9 years apart in age they have always had a very close relationship! Miranda followed in Brittany's footsteps of becoming a dental assistant, so they share their love and frustrations of having a career in the dental field together. It's hard being so far apart with Miranda living in Texas, but they make sure to FaceTime or talk on the phone on a regular basis, sometimes even for hours at a time! They also try to meet up often, in the past few years Brittany has traveled to Austin to spend time with Miranda and her boyfriend Levi, they came to experience the winter magic of Leavenworth with their cousins, and the girls have met in Vegas to visit family and replay memories of crazy trips there as kids. They even share the same tattoo of a Rose on their right arms, that they got together when their dad passed.

Lindy Downey

Brittany and Lindy have also been best friends since 6th grade! In fact Brittany, Lindy, Leila and some other of wedding guests have been friends since middle and/or high school. All growing up in nearby neighborhoods in Sammamish. Lindy and Brittany worked together as servers at a retirement home along with other friends in high school. They have traveled together many times, as close as Crescent Bar, Vancouver, or Palm Springs, or as far as London, Paris, Naples, Capri, and Rome! Mexico will be the 6th country they have traveled to together! They also can always count on the other one to join them in physical activity of some sort! They have completed many exercise programs, 5Ks, climbed the Space Needle, hiked mountains, and walked hundreads of miles together!

Ashley Gaudreau 

Ashley is one of Brittany's many cousins on the Rose side of the family and they have always been very close even as little girls! Ashley's family moved to Las Vegas when she was a kid, but Brittany's dad loved to travel to Vegas and the girls had many adventures out on the strip, hanging out at the pool, grabbing dinners, or spending time with family! As adults, distance hasn't kept them apart and they always find a way to meet up annually usually in Washington, Nevada, or more recently Montana, and they couldn't be more excited for their next family event in Mexico! They also make sure to check in with a phone call on a regular basis! Brittany got to be a bridesmaid of Ashley's in her wedding and they're happy to get the chance to celebrate this special time together again!

Justin Durnford

Justin and Bo met about 6 years ago at an event and became fast friends! They both have young sons around the same ago who have also become best friends as well. Being as the boys were only around 2 years old when they first met, Bo and Justin like to take Bryant and Eric to fun places to entertain and wear them out. The boys favorite being places like Dave and Busters or the trampoline park, but they go annually to Mariners games, trick or treating, or to the state fair which is always a great time, especially when Brittany and Jamie join too! Bo and Justin even have the opportunity to work together as they often work on home remodel/projects together.

Jake Cunningham

Jake is Bo’s younger brother, who stole his thunder by being born one day before Bo’s 3rd birthday! They were always friends growing up as kids, and still maintain that friendship even 30 years later. Jake lives in Arizona, but they talk on the phone pretty often and keep each other in the loop. Bo and Brittany even got to meet up with Jake and his husband Bert in Las Vegas last year to see one of their favorite comedians, Theo Von! They also share a love for wiener dogs, as they have one named Ben, as well as two other pups!

Resort Information

Please join us in staying at this beautiful all inclusive resort on a private beach. That cost per day includes unlimited food and drinks for you and anyone you share a room with while on resort property. There are 5 restaurants on the property as well as a sports bar, coffee shop, and 24 hour room service. There are 4 pools, including a kids pool, adult only pool, activities pool, and a pool bar. There are daily exercise activities in the pool, on the beach and a gym on site. There are also daily activities and nightly entertainment/shows. Additional activities/services for purchase on property include spa services, parasailing, fishing, jet ski rentals, etc. It is about a 5 minute Uber or Taxi into the vibrant and historic old town of Puerto Vallarta. The dates listed above are the days we will be staying at the resort, but feel free to pick dates that work best for your schedule. We will have group excursions planned starting Wednesday April 16, 2025.

Mirador del Cerro de la Cruz, “The Hill of the Cross Lookout” is all you’d want from a city lookout, a great colorful 360° panoramic view of the city and the bay. Getting to the top requires a considerable physical effort, although it is completely worth it, there are several ways to get to the Cerro de la Cruz Lookout, one is by following Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez Street, a straight uphill route with a gradual slope that increases as you approach the top. There is a funicular (but unsure if it will be running at the time we visit).
