Lance and I met through a mutual friend. We started talking over the phone and Lance asked me on a date. He asked me to go night catfishing with him. I was not aware that a bunch of his friends would be there as well. I will never let him live this down, but Lance was driving me home after the date and he stopped at a blinking yellow light because he was so nervous. We had a great time and he asked me on another date. He asked me to go to watch him race 2 weeks later. Yes, I met his parents on our second date. After the races, we got back to Lances parents house and he asked me to be his girlfriend at 2am on June 13, 2020. We have had so much fun together as a couple. We have been on vacations and I got Matrix during our relationship. Fast forward to 4 1/2 years into our relationship, my family and Lances family took a trip to Frankenmuth, MI. Little did I know that Lance would propose the day we arrived. Even though he thought I was going to figure it out, I was completely oblivious. We got engaged on December 20, 2024. We are both so excited for this next step of marriage and can’t wait to spend this amazing day with all of you!
