Our Wedding

Chris and I have been together going on 9 years and started as friends a few years before that. They say the best relationships start with a great friendship and this journey lead us to become engaged in December of 2021. We are truly soulmates and have created a beautiful family, with 3 amazing children. Chris and I are so excited to share our special day with all of our dearest family and friends. We thought it would make the most sense for our family to do a destination wedding so we could take full advantage of an amazing vacation as well. After the few years we have all had, a vacation sounds pretty nice right about now.

The hotel where the wedding will take place and where we will be staying is called the Riu Palace in Aruba! The Riu has two hotels, the Riu palace and the Riu Antillas- Adults only. If you have children you have to book at the Riu Palace, but if you are going with no children you can book at either resort. Chris and I booked through Applevacations. We have set up a group promotional option for our guests in both the Riu Palace and Riu Antillas. When booking, you will book through Applevacations.com or can call 866-254-3375 and select the prompt for reservations. Although you will be booking individually you will still be considered part of the group. Below are the promotional codes for each hotel. When booking online you will need to put in the code and when booking over the phone you will give the agent the code number. Just make sure you use the correct code for the hotel you choose. Also below are estimates of what the rooms will cost depending on which hotel and the number of guests. These are just an estimate as of 7/20/2022 and that doesn’t include the discount that will be applied.

Hotel and Travel 

Riu palace is an all inclusive resort with features that include: all food and drinks, 5 gourmet restaurants, access to the gym beach and volleyball court, access to stand up paddle surfing, snorkeling equipment and kayaking. 2 large swimming pools with swim up bar and kid area. Full access to hotel casino and discotheque (Riu Antillas- 18 plus). Available water sports, bicycle hire and golf courses. Enjoy the Renova Spa for much needed relaxation. Kids and adult programs, live music and shows are also included. All of these great amenities and features can be accessed without stepping foot off the resort.
