Our story began a bit different than the average love story. Mike and I met online on a dating app my friend convinced me to try. Just when I was ready to delete the app I met a cute boy named Mike. I knew right then he would be different from the others. After many messages and phone calls, we finally went on our first date.....at Adventure Park. After that weekend we knew this was it. We felt the instant connection. It wasn't easy with the driving back and forth from Tulare to Bakersfield just to see and spend time together. Our relationship was made official on July 2, 2015 in a special place, Pismo Beach. That very weekend Mike go to see my love for shopping at Collections and chose to stick around. After three years and a teaching job later the decision was made I would move to Bakersfield. We have lived happily for the last five years together, got fur babies, struggled, experienced hardships, and celebrated victories! On August 20th, 2022, which was my birthday, my better half finally proposed at Newport Beach. Newport now holds a special place in our hearts. The last eight years together have been nothing short of amazing and we look forward to our wedding, traveling the world and experiencing life as Mr. and Mrs. The best is yet to come.
