Before we met, we both spent time praying for each other. We hadn't met yet but we trusted that God would bring us together in His perfect timing. After trialing online dating, we met on a Christian dating app in December of 2020. Our first date was at "The Lights On The Bluff" in St. Joe, Michigan on December 27th, 2020. The next 3 hours flew by and neither of us wanted the night to end. After our first date we both realized it was something special. We spent the next several months dating and intentionally learning more about each other. Every time the question, "When do I get to see you again?" was asked it was always answered by, "Are you free tomorrow?" There have been countless memories we've shared, including a trip to a Chicago Cubs game that consisted of a complete tire blowout on the Chicago Sky way. That experience and others along the way was God showing us that we're great teammates.

On January 8th of 2022, we found ourselves in that same spot in St. Joe, Michigan for a date night. This was our first night out after being quarantined for 10 days with COVID. After enjoying some incredible burgers, we walked down by the pier at Silver Beach. It was there that we decided to say yes to sharing all of life's journeys together.
