Brittany & Anthony met while attending Higley high school. Brittany being a grade older, she met Anthony’s older brother Brad & they developed a friendship that lasted over many years. Anthony’s niece & Brittanys oldest son Jayden are close in age. Throughout the years Brittany has been involved with the Cross family attending Brads children’s birthday parties, bbqs, friend events, etc. In late September of 2019, Anthony messaged Brittany asking her to come over and hang out with Nick, Cory, and Brad (all members of the bridal party) and play beer pong (if you know Anthony and his friends this was a very frequent weekend occasion- beer pong in the garage, how romantic right?) Brittany agreed, and since then life has been a rollercoaster. All within less than a year of that garage beer pong night, Anthony & Brittany moved in together & expected their first child together. There is a song Brittany often says reminds her of their relationship - “One beer turns into a lit cigarette burnin' into a two beer buzz Three beers turns into five and six Then a love drunk kiss in the back of that truck Just like that, everything rearranges Life changes out of the blue It's just a Bud Light, but ain't it funny what one beer can turn into?” The unexpected early birth of their son Miles at 26 weeks gestation, and the journey of his hospital stay truly built the foundation of their marital commitment. The highs and lows of that experience truly brought Anthony & Brittany together in an emotional way that they’ve never experienced before. They knew if they could get through that, they could get through anything, as long as they had each other. Deciding to get married & become a family was the next step they were both eager to take in their love story. Being with Anthony is so effortless, our relationship has always had a harmonious flow, as if we are truly meant to be together. I knew I loved Anthony a few months into us seeing each other. I was extremely nervous about a situation and he stayed with me the entire weekend and made sure I was okay. If I had to describe Anthony to others, I would say he is extremely handsome, passionate, caring, and kind hearted. Besides his terrible taste in professional sport teams he is perfect. Watching Anthony be a father to his daughter, effortlessly step in to help with Jayden and build a relationship with him, and care for our little Miles makes my heart melt. Anthony spends everyday doing all he can for our family, he makes me fall in love with him all over each and every single day. Anthony’s cool, calm and collected demeanor is a perfect match for my eccentric, out-going, and sometimes crazy personality. We are complete opposites in a lot of ways, and I 100% believe that’s what makes our relationship work. I cannot wait to be his wife, and to honor, cherish, and love him forever. - Brittany Brittany is a very beautiful, funny, out-going person and has a very huge heart for not only Bella & I, but for everyone. She does a lot for us and doesn’t ever expect anything in return because that’s the type of person she is. The moment I knew I loved her was when I saw how great she treated, helped and loved my daughter Isabella. She is a self-less, wonderful mother to Jayden & she treats Bella as if she were her own. The moment that I knew that I wanted to marry her was when Miles made his early entrance into the world and through it all, our bond/love grew immensely. We have total opposite personalities, but it’s what makes us work so well for each other. Though she is going to push her strong love for Detroit sports teams on Miles, I’ll be there to steer him in the direction of choosing the teams that know how to win. I’ll spend the rest of my life making sure Brittany knows how loved she is every single day. She is the heart of our family and to say I feel like the luckiest man alive, would be an understatement. I love this girl with everything that I am and can’t wait for the day to become her husband. - Anthony
