What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm, please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early so you can get settled in.

Do I have to attend the ceremony?

No, of course not! Although the ceremony is where we become one we completely understand if a full Catholic mass is not your thing. Feel free to come join the fun at the cocktail hour and reception.

Is there parking at the ceremony and reception?

If you are staying at the Logan Hotel, they have valet parking on the premises and the Cathedral is only a short 1 minute walk across the street! If you are coming straight to the Cathedral, they do have a parking lot with limited availability and the address is 222 North 17th Street Philadelphia, PA 19103. The Water Works where the reception is taking place has complementary on site valet parking.

What is the dress code?

Dress code is Black Tie Optional/Formal Attire. Throw on your best dress or suit and tie and dress to impress!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony is indoors while the cocktail hour and reception are both indoor and outdoor venues.

What can I do between the ceremony and reception ?

Hotel check-ins start at 4:00, if you are coming from far away then after the ceremony would be the perfect time to check into your hotel room and freshen up before heading to the reception. The Logan has a great bar in the lobby that you may hangout at until it's time to head over to the Water Works!

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Yes! We have a trolley to take guests to and from the venue and hotel. It will take multiple trips before and after the reception to get guests where they need to be. The distance between the Ceremony and Reception venues is less than 2 miles which is a quick 8 minute Uber ride or a 20 minute walk if you feel like enjoying the scenery and fresh air.
