Where can we stay the night of the wedding?

If you are not being lodged at Loughcrew Estate, there are several airbnbs and hotels nearby that I have linked in the "travel" tab. I would suggest booking these in advance and sharing with other friends!

Where should we stay if we are coming over from the US and how long should we stay??

I would suggest staying in Dublin before the wedding, and then exploring the rest of Ireland if you have time to stay! Feel free to run hotels/airbnbs by me before you come. I would recommend coming at least 2 days prior to the wedding in case there are any flight disruptions and so you aren't too jet lagged. We plan to have a "Night 2" at a pub in Dublin on Sunday June 8th, but you do not have to attend if you are unable!

Should we rent a car if we are coming from the US?

I would suggest renting a car, or renting a few between couples to make transportation easier if you are staying for more than just the wedding. Reminder- Ireland drives on the left :)

Can I bring a guest?

Unfortunately we have very limited capacity at our venue, so you will only be able to bring a guest if there is a plus one listed on your invitation.

Are children welcome?

Again due to the small venue and limited space, we are limiting children to only immediate family members. Thank you for your understanding!

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

The ceremony will be outdoors, and the cocktail hour will be outdoors, weather permitting. Ireland weather can be very unpredictable, so I would suggest bringing a light jacket and umbrella!

What is the dress code?

Cocktail Attire/Semi Formal.

Can I take pictures?

We are planning an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that phones be put away during the ceremony so our guests are present with us during this time. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like!

What will transportation look like?

For those who are driving themselves, there will be ample parking available at the venue. There will also be a bus leaving from Whitehall Church at 1:45PM on the wedding day to take guests to Loughcrew Estate. This bus will return on the following day, leaving Loughcrew at 11:00 AM so make sure if you are taking the bus there, you are staying the night near the venue so you can come back in the morning for the bus (or you have your own transportation home). Also, please let us know if you intend to use the bus as we need to book the correct number of seats! **Groomsmen will be on an earlier bus on the wedding day.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Our ceremony will start at 3:30PM, so we suggest arriving by 2:45PM-3:00PM in order to get to the ceremony space and get seated in time.
