Our Wedding

We met on Labor Day weekend 2020 when Brittany came to spend the weekend at Lake Oconee with her friend Sarah and her family. It just so happens that Sarah's family is really great friends with and has a lake house right next to... you guessed it... the Metcalfes. After a great weekend at the lake and a few Instagram DMs later, we went on our first date a week later to Superica at the Battery. Over the next 10 months, we experienced a lot together-- dating during a pandemic, lots of trips back and forth from Rome to Atlanta, a Game of Thrones marathon, two job changes, weekend trips, long conversations on the couch, and little moments that made us fall in love and create the relationship we have today.

Our Story

Spencer proposed to Brittany on July 23, 2021 in the Founder's Garden at UGA. We are so thankful for every memory that we have made together so far, and we can't wait to see what our future holds.
