Nick and Brittany first met in February of 2017 at Cataldo Ambulance Service in Everett, MA. Their friendship grew over the next couple of years, then they officially started dating in December of 2019.

Throughout the next 4 years, Nick and Brittany supported each other through countless job shifts, moves, and personal achievements, which they maneuvered through with love, laughter, and devotion.

They share many of the same interests (snowboarding, all things firefighting, fitness, corn hole, and of course family!) to name a few. Which has created so many memories and a great bond.

Their love for each other is obvious every time you’re around them!

THE ENGAGEMENT

Nick had been planning a trip to Bar Harbor Maine for months, as he knew it would be the perfect place to propose. He also had been holding onto the ring for 6 months at the time! Finding the perfect time though was a bit more challenging, with their busy work schedules. But, in September of 2022 they finally had a free weekend and headed to Maine.

The lighthouse, has always represented to Nick, a safe passage, as it shines through the storms fog, rough seas and the darkest of skies. leading vessels to safely move through the waters, home.

Nick has previously referred to himself as Brittany's lighthouse, and she knows how important and meaningful lighthouses are to him.

So, on September 13th 2022 late morning the two set out for a hike. There was no sun to be had, as it was a foggy morning, but there was a beautiful light house in the distance. When they got to the rocky shore Nick secretly set up his phone to record their engagement. (Photos on Instagram)

Now with the venue chosen and the date set they are so excited to be getting married on June 29th, 2024! They are hoping you all will be able to attend and celebrate this amazing time in their lives. Family and friends are what will make this day so very special!!
