Irwynson and Brittany met at UConn when Irwynson got paired with Brittany as his academic mentor. They laughed  and flirted the whole time Brittany was supposed to be teaching him about time management skills and studying tactics so you can probably guess his grades werent that great that semester. Some time had passed before they saw each other again until Brittany had had a dream about him that her mom told her to act on. Brittany was hesitant to text him to hang out but she took the leap and they've been inseparable ever since. They said "I love you"  for the first time at midnight on Christmas Eve at his mom's Brazilian Christmas Party. Irwynson  brought her outside to "talk" just as it started to snow and then held her hands and said he loved her. It was perfect. She was already bursting to say it too so he really nailed the timing on that one.  Some more time went by and they moved to Boston and got an apartment together for 2 years, got a sweet Corgi named Lucy, and then on their 3 year anniversary, Irwynson proposed. Brittany was under the impression that they would be simply going into the city to celebrate their anniversary but Irwynson had different plans. He took her to a location that had her favorite flowers and got down on one knee. And again, it was perfect. Then, a pandemic hit and they missed their friends and familiies so much that they bought a house in CT in July of 2021 and couldn't be happier.

Oh, and they still flirt like crazy four and a half years later 😉
