Where should we stay?
The wedding reception is in Uptown New Orleans and there are many hotel options! We have a hotel room block at a few hotels, please see the booking links on the Travel section of the website. However, if you are looking for other options, we recommend The Higgins Hotel, The Alder Hotel, and the Ponchatrain Hotel. If you have questions about the area please reach out to Ryan and Brittany for help!
What time is the ceremony?
The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to get settled in at the church.
How should I handle transportation while I am in New Orleans?
New Orleans can be a very walkable city and Ubers are easy and quick to arrange! Driving in New Orleans comes with massive potholes, and unfortunately a risk of car break-ins. If renting a car or driving into town, please keep that in mind when parking your car.
If you are planning to Uber from the ceremony to the reception, we recommend scheduling your Uber from the church to the reception, with a pick up time of no later than 6:45.
Can I bring my kids?
Unfortunately since our wedding reception is at a historic musuem home, they do not permit any children to be in attendance. While we love your kids, we kindly ask that they are not in attendance for the evening. If you want to bring them to New Orleans and arrange care, Brittany can help connect you with reliable babysitters.
What is black-tie optional?
The most important thing is having fun so wear what you feel the most comfortable in! We would love to see you get the chance to wear your best formal wear and get all dressed up, but feel free to wear your favorite cocktail dress too!
What time does the wedding end? Will there be an after party?
The wedding reception will be from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM. At 10:00 PM we would love for you to join the bride and groom to visit some of their favorite bars in the quarter!
Is there parking at the church and reception?
There is limited parking at the church in the horseshoe driveway to the right side of the entrance. Otherwise, there is first come first serves street parking on both sides of St. Charles Avenue in front of the church.
We recommend Ubering as parking can be hard to come by. If you do Uber, we recommend scheduling your Uber from the church to the reception, with a pick up time of no later than 6:45.
