Eric and I met through mutual friends in 2020. Our friend group continued hanging out, so Eric and I were often around each other. We came to realize we had a lot of similar interest and hobbies. Or at least what I thought were similar interests, Eric may have told a little fib to get me to go out on a date with him.. It worked out in his favor and we started dating in October 2020. Eric and I both enjoy traveling and have been privileged enough to visit some amazing places together. Our personal favorite (so far) Hawaii. Eric and I have been to Hawaii twice now our second time there, we did a grueling, hike along the Na PaliCoast in Kauai. The day after making it off the trail (barely) he took me to one of my favorite spots on the island and proposed! What an amazing way to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. Flash forward today we just recently closed on a house in Ankeny. Eric, myself and Malu are all really excited to start our new chapter there in our first home. We are anxiously awaiting our wedding day and can’t wait to celebrate with all our friends and family!
