After being hired as interns at Wasserman for the summer of 2018, Max found himself being led to the intern pen. As he rounded the corner, he saw his beautiful bride-to-be. Neither of them knew it. Brittany was still seeing someone and Max thought she was soooooooooooo pretty. They sat next to each other all summer and became friends. The following spring, Max was in Seattle with Indiana Baseball and decided to Uber from Downtown Seattle to UW's campus to see Brittany for all of 15 minutes before her softball game.

That summer of 2019, Max tried to take Brittany to a Dodger game with the intention of it being a date. She only liked him as a friend still and insisted on paying for her own ticket. *insert bummed audience here* The following year, without either of them knowing, they both returned home to Los Angeles on the same day for spring break. They reconnected that week which in turn became 18 months of pandemic lockdowns and restrictions. What also came, was a chance.

After using Max as a plug for Disney+ to watch the Marvel movies, Brittany finally realized how great and awesome he was. From that day forward, their future began. They started dating on July 1, 2020 and almost four years later, Max proposed at the Malibu Pier on May 25, 2024.
