Our story begins with two gym rats. HEHE just kidding, but it really does start with two people who really love the gym. Christian and I met at O2 Fitness. We both worked out there and Christian finally got the nerve to ask me for my number. We were texting for about two weeks and talking on the phone before I finally said "So are you going to ask me on a date or what?". I'm clearly extremely subtle. We went on our first date two days after that comment to K38 in Wilmington where Christian insisted we get guacamole so he could make sure I was the one. LOL kidding but he just wanted to watch me eat the entire thing of guac and chips BY MYSELF. After dinner he took me to watch the sunset on Wrightsville Beach. After our first date, we were basically inseparable and would hang out every day after work. After "talking" for a month, Christian asked me to be his girlfriend on September 6th, 2022.

Since then, Christian moved from his Wilmington apartment to Surf City to my apartment. Christian surprised me with a trip to NYC last Christmas where we took our first 10-hour road trip. We went on a weeklong cruise which was Christian's first time in Florida and out of the country. We bought a house together, attended countless country concerts, and went to Gatlinburg, TN to celebrate our one year. One thing about our story is that we always have fun together even if that means laying on the couch watching tv.

On October 19th, I thought I was going to meet a friend for dinner in Wrightsville Beach. But to my surprise, I walked up the stairs of an airbnb where Christian was outside on the balcony on one knee. I have never been so surprised in my life. I have never been so happy or excited in my life. I've known since the beginning that Christian was my person. And now we are here planning OUR WEDDING!
