In early December of 2015 Mike told Brittany he was taking her to the Mountain View Grand in the White Mountains of NH for her Christmas gift. The Mountain View Grand just happens to be Brittany's favorite spot in NH. This irritated her as they promised each other no Christmas gifts. But who could complain right?! The 19th of December approached and everything was normal. While driving up to the NH Mountains, it was snowing for the first time all year. After a quick pit stop for lunch at their favorite restaurant in Plymouth, they were on the road to the Mountain View Grand. As they arrived the snow began to come down heavier and heavier and it was FREEZING! Mike told Brittany she had an appointment at the spa at 4 PM for a pedicure, she couldn't wait to warm up her feet! As he dropped her off at the spa he mentioned he would be waiting in the hotel room in his bathing suit (swimming in the hotel pool is Mike's favorite thing to do whenever they go away), watching the football game and to text him when her appointment was over so they could go to the pool. After an hour long and very relaxing pedicure, she texted Mike letting him know she was on her way back.

A few flights of stairs later…

Brittany opened the door to their hotel room where there were beautiful red rose petals leading to the bed in the shape of a big heart. Brittany turned around to see Mike behind the door looking all dapper in his suit and tie. He grabbed her hands and told her how much he loved her and how happy she has made him over the past 5 years. Then, he dropped to one knee and the magic words came… "Brittany Ann Edgerly, will you make me the happiest man on earth and marry me?" In utter SHOCK, she managed to get out a yes and a few tears. The next hour was spent calling all of their closest friends and family to share the big news, followed by the most romantic dinner in the wine cellar of the hotel. It was and always will be, the most unforgettable night of their lives.
