Our Wedding

Brittney and James met in 2019. James had moved up to Sacramento from the San Luis Obispo area where he lived for six years and Brittney was back in Elk Grove after graduating from Chico State. They dated for a few months before James asked Brittney to be his girlfriend in July of 2019. In 2021 they moved into a condo together in Rancho Cordova. They enjoyed officially having a place of their own to start building memories and continue to grow their relationship. They were in the condo for two years and then decided to start house hunting towards the end of 2022. House hunting was a long tedious process but in June of 2023 were able to purchase their first home in Elk Grove. For the last two years they have been learning the ups and downs of being homeowners! Shortly after moving in, they adopted the cutest kitten named Artie from the local animal shelter after going to “just look”. Of course, a couple months after adopting Artie, Brittney insisted that he needed a friend and another kitten named Charlie was also adopted. They now rule the house and are loving every second of being spoiled. In July of 2025 the pair had a trip planned to Kauai and during the trip James asked Brittney to marry him at the top of Waimea Canyon.

Complimentary round-trip shuttle service is provided from the hotel. Shuttle will depart from hotel at 4:00 PM, with a return trip departing from the venue at 10:00 PM. Note: The shuttle bus will only make one trip each way.
